In recent years,the sharing economy enterprise platforms represented by Uber and Airbnb have brought great influence and impact to the traditional economic fields,and they are also influencing and changing people's lifestyles,commercial operation mechanism and organization management mode at an amazing speed.From the rise to the rapid worldwide expansion,the sharing economy enterprises are amazing in their economic scale and commercial potential,which gives new connotations to"new economy".The governments around the world have released signals and expressed the attitudes for advocacy and support,positive guidance and moderate supervision one after another.The United States is always the storm of sharing economy development and innovation.After the sharing economy model rose in the United States,it struck roots quickly around the world and ignited a new spark after colliding with the local economy.By absorption and reference,Chinese sharing economy platform has gradually formed a development path that meets China's market stage and demands through its insight and deep understanding on local market,sharp business sense and powerful resource integration capability.The collision of sharing economy and potential of Chinese market generates more powerful magnetic field energy and plenty of commercial imagination spaces.China and the United States are respectively developing country and developed country which attract much attention from the world.Both have far-reaching influence and frequent interactions with each other in the area of sharing economy.The value mechanism under the prosperity of the American platform has a positive guiding role for the Chinese platform,no matter it is bringing in orgoing out.For American platform,the value logic at the time of the development of Chinese platform also has a positive guiding role now and in the future.In this paper,"A Comparative Study on the Value Channel of Sharing Economy Enterprise Platforms between China and the United States" is taken as a core research issue.Extensive document literatures are collected for 14 sharing economy platforms,the most representative ones under four sharing models of collaborative learning,collaborative finance,collaborative production and collaborative consumption between China and the United States.Coding research is done on numerous document literatures based on the grounded theory and MAXQDA qualitative analysis software,and the value system coding stream is extracted layer by layer to shape an aggregation form of each category code in the value channel system and realize systematic analysis and summarization of the value channel of each platform.By revealing the characteristics of the value channel of typical sharing economy platforms between China and the United States,an in-depth understanding on individuality and commonness of the value channel of sharing economy platform between China and the United States is thus formed.The internal mechanism of the value channel of sharing economy platform on the basis of comparative study is described.The core driving elements of the innovation of the value channel of sharing economy platform are obtained accordingly.According to the research,there are two differences for sharing economy platforms between China and the United States: 1)The development strategy of Chinese platform for building a commercial ecosystem based on local market determines that its value channel system takes market concentration and business diversification as the core characteristic.The development strategy of American platform for providing professional service for global market determines that its value channel system takes market decentralization and business focus as the core characteristic.2)The relationship between Chinese and American sharing economy platforms has gone through three development stages:Stage I-Chinese platforms follow the platforms of the United States;Stage II-Competition between China and the United States;Stage III-Competitionand cooperation between China and the United States.There are three common points for sharing economy platforms between China and the United States: 1)User is the core of value channel system,and the whole value channel system is actually a continual process of user value embodiment,implementation,transmission and identification.2)The value channel system is a dynamic system,in which the core value of platform is engaging in the flowing of all parties involved,and which is deeply influenced by transaction structure,channel and market environment.3)Key business,core resources,important cooperation and value innovation are four important aspects for the increase of platform value.According to the research,the core driving elements for the innovation of the value channel of sharing economy platform include user demand,market environment,technical innovation and data aggregation.Firstly,user demand runs through each link of the value channel.Demand driving force is evolved into value innovation through value channel and plays a core driving role in the innovation of the value channel of sharing economy platform.Secondly,as an external innovation driving force,the market environment acts on the value channel system during interaction with the platform,focuses on the key business-development strategy category,carries out and permeates into other links and categories of the value channel system in the form of significant strategic innovation and forms the most significant and thorough value innovation.There are market environment positive and negative feedbacks for the platform formed by the value channel innovation mechanism,which have a significant influence on the sustainability of platform value growth.Thirdly,one value channel innovation driven by technology is formed by optimizing and improving platform products,services,operation,resources and applications as well as background technology upgrading.After technical capability continues to be improved and forms technical competitive advantages,the platform can output the technologies by virtue of its technical strength or causes the industrial change at the deep level.Thus,the technical driving force completes two value channel innovations.This process is continuously repeated in the whole life cycle of the platform,and a perfect curve of spiral ascending is drawn for the platform.Fourthly,internal data aggregation caused by the internal data accumulation and external data integration provides an effective data decision-making tool for the platform,thus promoting the operation management,product development,market development,industry research,precision marketing,competition strategy formulation,platform construction and other development aspects.Data aggregation indirectly enhances the platform value in the form of decision-making.When data aggregation has a conversion from quantitative change to qualitative change,the big data itself will become a data service product and enhance the platform value directly in the form of product.
