Research On Measurement And Optimization Of Regional Economic Development Unbalanced In The Yangtze River Delta

The coordinated development of regional economy is the premise for the stable and efficient operation of national economy.Moderate unbalanced development is conducive to the improvement of the overall efficiency of the economy.However,if the economic development difference between regions is too large,it will bring serious harm to the overall development of regional economy.On the report of the 19th CPC national congress,President Xi Jinping put forward in the context of the new era that the major contradiction in China's society has been transformed into the contradiction between the people's growing need for a better life with the unbalanced and inadequate development.At present,the problem of imbalance can include field imbalanee,regional imbalanee and group inbalance.The unbalaneed development of regional economy is a key factor restricting the overall healthy development of economy.The report proposes to implement the regional coordinated development strategy and establish a more effective new mechanism for regional coordinated development.Since the reform and opening up,the Yangtze river delta has achieved a historic leap in economic and social development by virtue of its location,resources and system.However,due to the influence of natural resources,transportation infrastructure,education,science and technology level and economic policies,the imbalance of economic development in the Yangtze river delta has become increasingly prominent.This imbalance has seriously hindered the overall and healthy economic development of the Yangtze river delta region,and then brought adverse effects on the development of the entire national economy.Therefore,it is of great significance for the construction of regional economic integration in the Yangtze river delta to study and measure the degree of imbalance in regional economic development,analyze the influencing factors of regional economic differences,and put forward optimization countermeasures for unbalanced development.On the basis of theoretical analysis,this paper firstly sorts out the theory of regional economic development and the theory of coordinated development based on the research of domestic and foreign scholars,and then reviews the literature from three aspects:the measurement method of regional economic development imbalance,influencing factors and coordinated research.Then,on this basis in order to analyze the unbalanced degree of regional economic development in the Yangtze river delta,the regional economic differences are measured and decomposed from the perspective of time trend,and their economic development status is comprehensively analyzed and demonstrated from the perspective of spatial distribution.In order to deeply explore the influencing factors of regional economic development differences in the Yangtze river delta region,this paper uses panel data from 41 cities in the Yangtze river delta region from 2002 to 2017 to build an econometric model,and conducts empirical analysis and test.The conclusions are as follows:first,from the Yangtze river delta area in general,in addition to the government institution index,inputs and industrial structure,foreign trade index of regional overall economic impact is very significant,especially indicates that increasing inputs of human capital investment,optimize industrial structure,improve the level of opening to the outside world,strengthening the degree of marketization can effectively promote the Yangtze river delta regional economy overall development;Secondly,from the perspective of the Yangtze river delta region,the influences of various variables on regional economic growth in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Axahui provinces are different.Therefore,measures should be adapted to local conditions and different economic development strategies should be fonmulated according to the actual conditions of each province,so as to improve the economic development level of this province and narrow the inter?provincial differences in the economic development of the Yangtze river delta region.Thirdly,it analyze,compare and summarize the international experience of coordinated development of regional economy.Finally,on the basis of the previous empirical research and experience,the optimization countermeasures are proposed on how to promote the coordinated development of regional economy in the Yangtze river delta from the aspects of improving the quality of human capital,consolidating advantageous industries,formulate preferential policies,give play to the leading role of central cities and improving the mechanism of inter-govemmental cooperation.
