Study On Operation Effect Evaluation Of Integrated Project Of Weihai Branch Of China Construction Bank

Since China joined the WTO,the financial industry has developed rapidly.To deal with the impact of domestic and foreign banks,China Construction Bank has completed the first two generations of transformation projects and has established more than14,000 outlets.In recent years,Internet finance has posed tremendous challenges to traditional banks.Customers' rigid demand for physical outlets has been decreasing.Many bank outlets have experienced decline and loss in profits.In this context,some commercial banks began to withdraw their inefficient outlets,while CCB conducted an integrated network project aimed at upgrading outlets.With the completion of the transformation project of 37 outlets of CCB Weihai Branch,the demand for evaluating the transformation effect has gradually become prominent.How to use scientific and rigorous methods to evaluate the effect of bank outlet transformation,and compare the efficiency of network outlets have important reference values for managers to make decisions such as network withdrawal,scale increase or decrease,resource allocation,cost adjustment,and personnel deployment.In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the integration project of China Construction Bank,the thesis takes 37 outlets within the jurisdiction of Weihai Branch of China Construction Bank as the research sample.First of all,through the literature review,this thesis clarifies the implementation connotation of the bank integration project,sorts out the bank management evaluation system,and compares the evaluation methods in project management.Concerning the actual situation of integrated construction project of outlets in CCB,the data envelopment analysis(DEA)approach is established to evaluate the input-output index of outlets of Weihai Branch of China Construction Bank in recent four years,from both static and dynamic dimensions.Finally,an efficiency analysis of the outlets is given.The results of data analysis show that the effect of scale efficiency on technical efficiency is obvious,as the size of outlets varies a lot.Thus,it can be optimized by appropriately expanding the scale of some outlets.According to the pure technical efficiency,most of the outlets still have progress space to the effective frontier.At the same time,they should also pay attention to the outlets with lower technical efficiency and re-plan their resource allocation.The results of DEA-Malmquist index show that technology index of most outlets has significantlyimproved with the continuous promotion of the integration project.However,some outlets still experienced a slight decline.The thesis aims to evaluate the effect of implementing the integrated construction project of outlets of China Construction Bank.The thesis establishes the effectiveness evaluation index system and evaluation model of the outlets comprehensive project,and carries out the corresponding empirical and quantitative analysis.The research results have significant importance for improving the operating efficiency and the management level of bank outlets,from both theoretical and practical aspects.
