In the development of port city, with the expansion of port functions and the continuous expansion of urban space, the contradiction between the port and the city has gradually become an important bottleneck restricting the economic development of ports and port areas. The resource consumption, environmental pollution, traffic pressure, noise, etc.generated by the daily production activities of the port are bound to have a negative impact on the urban environment. At the same time, the continuous accumulation and improvement of the functions of the city behind the port has occupied a space for further development of port functions. It has become one of the major problems facing the port cities that exploring the new coordinated development model of the port city,re-planning and developing the port space resources, and thus alleviating the contradiction and realizing the sustainable development of the region.Based on the systematic deconstruction of the internal behavior mechanism of port-city interactive system, this study comprehensively considers the economic contribution of the port to urban development and the negative impact of the contradiction.A system dynamics model was constructed, including three subsystems, the economy subsystem, the port-city contradiction subsystem and the land-use subsystem. And it was used in the simulation of the development trend of the relationship between port and city in the redevelopment stage of the port space resources, which is mainly driven by the contradiction and with land replacement as the main method. At the same time, according to the theory of urban land intensive use, considering the actual characteristics of port and port area development and the influence of the interaction between port and city, the evaluation system of land intensive use for port area is constructed. And combined with the simulation results,a dynamic evaluation method for the intensive land use of port area is proposed. In the case study, this study takes Qingdao as the research object, and systematically analyzes the characteristics of regional spatial resource redevelopment since the port function transfer.Using the system dynamics model proposed in this paper, the development trend of the future coordination relationship of the regional port city is predicted and analyzed.Five different scenarios were set up to compare the impact of different development models on regional economic development and the coordination relationship between port and city at different time periods. At last, combined with the simulation results of the system dynamics model, the future development of land intensive use of Qingdao port area is dynamically evaluated. This paper studies the temporal and spatial evolution of the interaction between port and city in the process of redevelopment of port space resources, and provides a future-oriented dynamic evaluation method for land resource development and intensive use in port area.It can provide reference for the formulation of the port city interface management policy and the construction direction of the coordinated development of the port city during the port and urban planning process,so as to realize the rational allocation of land resources, thus alleviating the contradiction between port and city, and promoting the sustainable development of the region.
