Farmers' Income Under The New Economic Normalization

The issue of peasants' income not only concerns the social fairness,justice and harmony and stability,but also the country's food security and the basic status of agriculture.Studying the peasants' income issue in the context of the new economic normal is an urgent requirement to adapt to the new normalcy of the economy at this stage and will play an important role in driving the growth of the national economy.On the basis of sorting out the new economic normal and Marxism theory about income increase of farmers,taking Tangshan City as an example,this paper summarizes the main characteristics of income of farmers in Tangshan City by analyzing the income data of farmers in Tangshan City,Favorable factors and unfavorable factors were summed up,and then put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote farmers' income: First,to promote agricultural supply-side structural reforms.Adjust the planting structure of crops,push forward the separation of the three rights of rural land,develop agriculture with large scale,and establish specialized farmer cooperatives.Second,increase policy support.Increase financial input to agriculture,improve infrastructure construction,and speed up the improvement and innovation of the rural financial system.Third,promote the income by science and technology.Strengthen the promotion of agricultural science and technology,the establishment of agricultural science and technology park,improve science and technology conversion rate,the establishment of agricultural production and marketing information platform.Fourth,improve the quality of peasants.Attach importance to peasant training and education and encourage peasants to start their own businesses.
