For a long time,China's manufacturing industry is at the low end of the value chain processing and assembly, and developed countries can carry out R&D and design in the high-end links of the value chain by virtue of their own technological advantages. As an important component of China's economic development, how to improve its ability to participate in the global value chain is of great significance to China's economic development and trade structure adjustment. In the past, when discussing effective strategies for how to benefit from the participation of manufacturing in the global value chain, domestic and foreign scholars have analyzed that it can be achieved through the upgrading of local factors, the improvement of innovation capabilities, and attracting foreign investment. However,in addition to traditional factor inputs,a country Market demand can also be an important factor influencing the profitability of its manufacturing participation in the value chain.Based on this, the framework of this paper is as follows:This paper first reviews the relevant literature on the scale of domestic market and value-added trade and sorts out the relevant literature.Secondly,it conducts index measurement on the scale of domestic market and value-added exports and comparative analysis between countries.Thirdly, this paper adopts panel data of 42 countries and regions in the world input-output table 2000-2014 for relevant regression analysis. The empirical results show that the expansion of the size of the local market has a significant positive impact on the value-added exports of the countries' overall manufacturing industries;the size of the domestic market of developed countries affects the value-added exports of their manufacturing industries is greater than that of developing countries; The impact of manufacturing value-added exports is greater than that of low-and medium-and low-tech manufacturing. The impact of foreign direct investment and technological innovation capacity on manufacturing value-added exports is significantly positive;trade openness and capital density are important factors affecting manufacturing value-added exports, but they affect developing countries and developing countries and different technology manufacturingindustries.Differences.Finally,based on the research conclusions of this paper, relevant policy recommendations are put forward. The innovation of this paper is reflected in two aspects: First, when examining the impact mechanism of value-added exports, the existing literature has achieved many results, but the literature on the impact of value-added exports from the perspective of local market size Relatively small.Second, the existing literature on the value-added trade system has achieved relatively comprehensive results. This paper attempts to further divide the sample into developed and developing countries based on the selection of the total sample, and then divide the manufacturing type.Return to make the empirical analysis more detailed.
