Under the background of global economic integration,China's futures industry has been rapidly developed with China's economy prosperity and policy promotion.Futures companies had undertaken meager and acquisitions in the capital market.The number of futures companies shrunk from 163 in 2011 to 149 in 2017,reflecting the increasing inner competition in the futures industry.Futures industry is of the financial service industry and is very important to the whole economy.As for the futures companies themselves,besides of being driven by the development of the nation's economy as the overall size expands,they also need to build asset management system and business marketing channels,and to strengthen internal and external supervision and management in order to substantially expand their market share,improve their competitiveness in the market.Therefore,this article takes LS Futures as the research case,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions for developing and perfecting the marketing channels of LS Futures and asset management business,in different standpoint of supervision department or futures companies themselves.At the first,this study describes the status of the whole asset management business in domestic capital market,and especially refines and summarizes the characteristics of asset management business of futures companies.In the follow part,through careful analysis,it finds that there are some serious problems in building market channels of the asset management business of the futures companies.Finally,through a concrete sample—LS Futures,it proposes the positioning,strategy and measurements for the futures companies' asset management business,as well as the suitable methods of building market channels.Considered the condition of LS Futures and the market situation faced by the company,this paper analyzes LS Futures by SWOT method,and comes to the conclusion that the main advantage of LS Futures is the large number of customer groups and the high level of the derivatives research and development basis.Moreover,LS Futures has already established a solid foundation for developing management-funds.It can use managed funds as the innovation business of LS Futures,and find high net worth clients as its target customers.Finally,through the construction of market channels,LS Futures made breakthroughs in this innovative business.The purpose of this research is that the strategy,which is different from the one of traditional brokerage business competition considered the situation and trend of the time,can help the futures industry to explore out a path of innovation and development.
