Research On G Futures Company Asset Management Business Strategy

Since 2012, Regulators gradually deregulated the futures industry’s asset management business in China, allowed the futures company to start asset management business, decreased the market access threshold, even officially released the "one for many" business, made much more opportunity for futures industry. At the same time, the profitability of traditional brokerage business continued to decrease, and talents drained, many difficulties were faced. Under the background, G Futures Company must make good use of this opportunity, through a series of financial innovation, gradually improve the enterprises operating difficulties, and to seek a breakthrough by the asset management business for the survival and development.This paper took G Futures Company as the case company, under the instruction of asset management theory, strategic management theory, completely and systematically analyzed the external environment and internal environment of futures company to develop asset management business for G Futures Company to make choice of develop strategy and implementation plan.Through in-depth analysis, this research found that G futures company current asset management business in the primary stage, only carry out pure channel asset management business, new product in June 2015 just invested in the market, have no the real effect. Facing the intense competition of many competitors inside and outside the industry, low fee is the main strategy currently for G Futures Company, but this strategy is difficult to surety company long-term profitability. Therefore, G futures company need by exploiting new products, such as Mom product, XXX structured asset management business products to optimize the G futures company’s asset management business structure, enhance the company’s profitability, and further design of multi level product system, to effective control the single asset management business products market risk for G futures company, achieve the development goal for G futures company by diversified development.
