Quality control of subcontractors’ production process is always a difficult problem for enterprises.As an important means for enterprises to manage subcontractors’ production process,Production part approval procedure(PPAPP)provide a standardized method to certificate the product quality of supplier and help enterprises to control the supplier s’ product quality by certification.For the problem of long time PPAP certification time and poor product quality after PPAP certification in T Company,we used value stream mapping(VSM),failure mode and impact analysis(FMEA),hierarchical audit and visual management to improve it in this thesis.In order to short the PPAP certification time,we used value stream mapping(VSM)to draw the status map of PPAP certification process and find bottleneck point to improve.For the improvement of PPAP document,we used DMAIC method(Define,Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control)and standard work to optimize the process of failure mode and impact analysis.For the monitoring of subcontractors’ production process after PPAP certification,we used hierarchical audit and visual management to strengthen supplier self-monitor and improve the process audit efficiency of T Company.Through the work above,we improved the PPAP certification process of T Company and promoted the quality improvement of subcontractors’ production.Moreover,the research results in this thesis also could provide some reference for other researchers to find a better way to implement PPAP and monitor subcontractors’ production process.
