| With the increasing demand for diversified and heterogeneous knowledge,the company's knowledge has been difficult to meet its own development needs,so more and more companies choose to cooperate with universities and research institutes to develop industry-university-research institute(IUR)to gain the key external resources.In addition,the Chinese government is also actively building the technological innovation system dominated by enterprises,guided by market demand and deeply integrated by IUR.As more and more IUR cooperation partners join in,the IUR cooperation network with technical cooperation and information sharing as the link between various entities has gradually formed.The network position and tie strength determine the diversity and stability of the external resources,which has an important impact on the innovation performance of the enterprises.However,most of the existing researches on the IUR cooperation network remain at the industrial level,and less on the regulation role of the company's own knowledge attributes.Based on this,the paper selects the regional IUR cooperation network as the research object.Taking IUR-related cooperation enterprises as research samples,the paper aims to study the influence of enterprise network position and tie strength on innovation performance among IUR cooperation.Firstly,based on the existing literature,the paper analyzed the mechanism of the network position,network tie strength and enterprise innovation performance,and proposed corresponding research hypotheses.Secondly,on the basis of patent search database of Baiten,the patent application for IUR cooperation in Jiangsu Province from 2009 to 2016 was searched.After that,the patent cooperation network of Jiangsu Province was established,and the network center degree,network structure holes,network tie strength,network scale,network central potential and network small world were obtained.Then,descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and negative binomial regression were conducted,and breadth of enterprise knowledge base was studied.Finally,based on the actual situation of the enterprise,the empirical results were discussed,and countermeasures and suggestions were provided to promote the IUR cooperation in Jiangsu Province and the innovation performance of enterprises.According to research results in the paper,the following six important conclusions are drawn:(1)The center position of network has significant positive impact on the innovation performance of the enterprises.(2)There is inverted U-shaped relationship between the number of structural holes and the innovation performance of enterprises.(3)Although the strength of network tie strength and enterprise innovation performance show an inverted U-shaped relationship,the strength of network tie has a significant negative impact on the innovation performance of enterprises in the distribution interval of the sample enterprises.(4)The positive impact of network center position on corporate innovation performance is strengthened by the breadth of knowledge base.(5)The inverted U-shaped relationship between the number of structural holes and the innovation performance of enterprises is strengthened by the breadth of knowledge base.(6)The breadth of knowledge base has no moderating effect on the relationship between the strength of network tie and the innovation performance of enterprises.The conclusions of the paper have important practical significance for improving the innovation performance of enterprises in Jiangsu Province,enhancing the scientific and technological competitiveness of Jiangsu Province,and promoting the deep integration of IUR in Jiangsu Province.At the same time,the research paradigm of the paper also provides reference for the research on the innovation performance of IUR cooperation in other regions in China,and it also has certain practical significance for China to build the technological innovation system with deep integration of IUR. |
