Regional innovation cooperation is an important factor affecting innovation performance.A group of scholars have revealed the mechanism of innovation cooperation’s impact on innovation performance, but it is mainly concentrated in provinces or national regions, and there is insufficient research and attention on the city level. In addition, few scholars study and analyze the impact of urban innovation cooperation on innovation performance from a spatial perspective, and analyze its spatial effect. The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China further proposed to deepen the implementation and accelerate the construction of an innovative country, establish a new mechanism for regional linkage development at the regional level, accelerate the flow and diffusion of knowledge and technology in various regions, and actively carry out cross-regional innovation cooperation. The integrated and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta has risen to a national strategy.Through cross-regional innovation cooperation, heterogeneous innovation resources can be obtained to form complementary advantages and improve the innovation performance of the Yangtze River Delta. Therefore, from a spatial perspective, this paper studies the structural characteristics of cross-regional innovation cooperation networks and their impact on innovation performance. On the basis of relevant the oretical analysis, first of all,we will analyze the characteristics and trends of the cooperation network in conjunction with the cooperation data of scientific papers, and use social network analysis methods to study the status of each node city in the cooperation network, analyze the network capital,"proximity" " relevance to innovation and cooperation capabilities.Secondly, using the exploratory spatial data analysis method, with the help of the analysis and characteristics of the spatial Moran index, the spatial correlation between the number of invention patent grants and the output value of the high-tech industry is used to characterize the regional innovation performance. Finally,a spatial econometric model of regional innovation cooperation breadth and innovation cooperation depth affecting innovation performance is constructed, and various models are used to analyze and estimate the data. The main research results are as follows:Using social network analysis methods to analyze the centrality and structural holes of urban innovation cooperation networks, the agglomeration and density of cross-regional innovation cooperation are further deepened, and the efficiency of knowledge exchange is improved;Shanghai,Nanjing,Hangzhou,Hefei,Suzhou, etc.are identified the key core position of the city in the network;analysis of the correlation between network capital,"proximity" and innovation cooperation capabilities.Except for the structural hole, the limit index of the network capital is significantly negative, the other indicators are significantly positive, and thegeographical proximity is positive Impact, institutional proximity has a negative impact. The overall urban innovation performance presents a trend of "high in the east and low in the west",and a cluster of high-performance levels is formed around key core cities. From the analysis of the spatial Moran value,it can be judged that the urban innovation performance in the Yangtze River Delta region shows significant spatial autocorrelation characteristics, most the position of the city in the four quadrants is relatively stable, and the spatial measurement method can be used to further analyze the spatial effect. The cooperation breadth and cooperation depth of the innovation cooperation network have a significant impact on innovation performance and have a space spillover effect. The study found that the breadth and depth of innovation cooperation has an inverted “U” effect on innovation performance(invention patent grants),and the local and spatial spillover effects of the breadth of innovation cooperation are significant, and the local spillover effects of cooperation depth are significant. The breadth of innovation cooperation and innovation performance(high-tech industry output value)have a "U"-shaped relationship but are not significant. The depth of innovation cooperation and innovation performance(high-tech industry output value)have an inverted "U"-type relationship and the direct spillover effect is significant. It shows that the breadth and depth of innovation cooperation has a significant spatial effect on innovation performance.Cities need to formulate appropriate innovation cooperation strategies according to the stage of their own impact mechanism, and actively use the spatial spillover effect of surrounding cities to enhance regional innovation performance capabilities. |
