In recent years,with the rapid growth of the total scale of individual investable assets in China,the domestic high net worth groups has an increasingly strong demand for wealth management,asset appreciation,property inheritance and other needs,and the domestic private wealth market has been developing rapidly.Therefore,private banks,a kind of comprehensive financial institutions that provide high levels of personalized and private property investment and management services for high net asset value customers,have gradually become an effective weapon for many kinds of banks to seize their markets and enhance their competitivenesses.After more than a decade of development,the domestic private banking business has made considerable progress.However,compared with foreign private banks,the domestic private banks still have many problems and challenges in business orientation,brand building,product system and so on,and are still in the initial stage of development.Therefore,it is a great significance to study the development strategy of domestic private banking business.As one of the first batch of state-owned private banks in China,A Bank’s Private Bank has strong representativeness in business development.Therefore,this paper takes A Bank’s Private Bank Sichuan Branch as the research objective.Firstly,this paper summarizes the backgrounds,purposes and significances of this paper,the current domestic and foreign scholars’ research results on private banks,the basic ideas,innovations and frameworks of this paper.Secondly,it summarizes the relevant theories used in this paper.And again,it uses the PEST Analysis Model to analyze the political,economic,social,technological and other macro environmental factors of the current A Bank’s Private Bank Sichuan Branch,and uses the Five Force Analysis model to analyze the same trade’s emulators,the potential trade’s emulators,the substitutes,the suppliers,the buyers and other industry environment factors of current A Bank’s Private Bank Sichuan Branch.Thirdly,it summarizes the basic situations and business developments of A Bank’s Private Bank Sichuan Branch.Finally,according to the above analysis results and combing with the overall development strategy of A Bank’s Private Bank Sichuan Branch,this paper puts forward a series of strategies and suggestions from the aspects of organizational strategy,personnel strategy,product strategy,service strategy and risk strategy,which are suitable for the current macro environment,industry competition environment and business development needs.These strategies and suggestions are helpful for the business development of A Bank’s Private Bank Sichuan Branch,and provide some useful suggestions for the development of other private banks and financial institutions in China.At the same time,they enrich the theoretical research results in the field of private banking.
