The citizenization of migrant workers is a major social problem in the period of social transformation in China. In recent years, with the increasing number of rural migrants, there has been a trend of internal differentiation: some of them can live in the city, the others are difficult to integrate into urban life. This problem is particularly prominent in ethnic areas with obvious heterogeneity.Based on the theory of social integration of Western immigrants, this paper constructs an analysis model of urban integration by using the field survey data of Southwestern Minority areas, and describe the urban integration of migrant workers in four dimensions: economic integration, social integration, psychological integration and identity.Following the logical chain of "integration status-influencing factors-group differences",this paper firstly makes descriptive statistical analysis of the current situation of urban integration from macro and micro levels;secondly, from the perspective of human capital and social capital, using OLS regression and fractional regression to make an empirical analysis of the influencing factors of urban integration of agricultural transfer population;finally, the research use Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition and Quantile decomposition to analyze the difference of urban integration between the urbanized group and the non-urbanized group. It is found that educational background, health, the degree of collective social capital assistance and the amount of renewable social capital are the "common" factors to promote the urban integration of migrant workers;for the agricultural migrant population with low urban integration, the number of training, work experience, the degree of collective social capital assistance and the degree of initialsocial capital assistance are the "personality factors" to promote their urban integration. There are differences in the degree of urban integration between nearby and non-local citizen groups, but with the increase of the quantile, the difference gradually narrows;the heterogeneity of human capital stock is the main reason for the difference in urban integration;the non-local citizen groups are facing the dual pressure of social capital disadvantage and institutional or non-institutional discrimination. It is necessary to adopt differentiated measures for migrant workers who with different degrees of urban integration ?To solve the problem of we can take various measures to steadily enhance the human capital of migrant workers;make overall planning and construct social capital;and guide nearest transfer according to local conditions in order to speed up the process of urbanization and citizenization in China.
