Research On The Operating Mechanism Of The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank is an intergovernmental financial institution dominated by developing countries.Its basic purpose is to strengthen the economic interconnection within the Asian region,serve the infrastructure construction in the Asian region and promote global financial cooperation.Compared with other existing international financial institutions,the Asian Investment Bank has made many innovations and changes in its operational mechanism.By investing in infrastructure and other productive areas,the Asian Investment Bank aims to promote sustainable economic development,create wealth and improve infrastructure interconnection in Asia.It establishes a three-level governance system of the board of directors and senior management,establishes the internal management model of modern commercial banks,streamlines institutional settings and improves the operational efficiency of the Asian Investment Bank.The source of funds,voting rights,decision-making rules and major business directions in the operation of the school establishment business reflect the will of all member countries to the greatest extent,enable emerging economies to have a voice on the international platform,and provide investment assistance to countries with backward infrastructure in the Asian region.By comparing with the operation mechanism of the existing international financial institutions,it is found that the Asian Investment Bank has the advanced nature of protecting the interests of developing countries and representing the interests of member countries widely.At the same time,it finds out the deficiencies in the operation mechanism,and tries to put forward suggestions for improvement by drawing on the advanced experience of other international financial institutions.
