BN Insurance IT System Development Project Management Based On Lean Thinking

BN life insurance company is a nationwide insurance company which mainly deals with life insurance and health insurance.After 9 years' development,it has gradually shown its brand and value.However,with the increasing competition in the insurance market and the increasingly rapid pace of new products and new demand,the IT system development model can not meet the growing trend in IT Department.The efficiency presents a downward trend.In order to break through the dilemma,gradually,the IT department hopes to learn from the principle of Lean Thought which has been widely used in recent years,and apply it to the project management of software development,so as to utilize resources effectively,reduce waste,improve software quality and shorten the development cycle.Thereby it contributes to improving core competition and creating more and more greater value.This paper focuses on the lean thinking method of software development project management,taking this opportunity to study and discuss the transformation process of BN Life IT department project management.Firstly,it describes the research of application status at home and abroad and the paper's framework.Secondly,introduces the model of software development project management and the theory of lean thinking.Then the paper analyzed the problems of BN IT system software development project management.Finally,improves the organizational structure and management process of software development by the lean thinking.It also introduces the construction of learning organization and the measure method during the project implementation.It proves the advantages and feasibility of lean thinking in software development project management.Based on the problem of the software development management in IT department,with the relevant theories and tools of Lean,this paper designs a new software project management plan,it is suitable for the information technology department.And this paper redesigns the software development project process.The methods and methods proposed in this paper can effectively solve the current project management problems happened in BN IT department.It can effectively improve the capacity,and at the same time it also has the great significance of the product innovation and development in insurance market for BN company.
