Research On The Impact Of Technological Spillovers On Regional Economic Growth

The deepening of global economic cooperation and technological exchanges has brought more opportunities for developing countries to introduce advanced international technologies and develop new momentum of economic growth.With the continuous progress of economic globalization,scholars at home and abroad begin to pay more attention to economic growth under the background of international trade.In the case of international technology spillovers,a country's productivity growth and economic development will not only depend on its R&D investment and technological innovation,but also be affected by foreign advanced technology.The imbalance of regional economic development is a serious problem facing China's economic development.Therefore,under the background of implementing the strategy of regional coordinated development in depth,it is of great practical significance to study the spillover effect of technology diffusion for the quality of technology and economic development in China,especially for the economic development of the underdeveloped areas in Western China.Based on the calculation of R&D capital stock by the perpetual inventory method,this paper introduces the R&D capital stock as one of the factors of production into the economic growth model,and constructs a spatial econometric model considering the factors of spatial interaction and the absorptive capacity of the receiving areas.Taking the three major economic regions of China as the research object,this paper makes use of the phase of 30 provinces except Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan.This paper examines the impact of international technology spillovers and domestic inter-regional Technology Spillovers on regional economic growth in China,analyses the unbalanced development of regional economy in China from the perspective of absorbing and utilizing the technological elements spilled over from various channels,and finally puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the technology level of all regions in China in an all-round way,and then narrow the gap of technology and economic level between the eastern,central and Western regions.
