Under the background of the accelerating economic globalization process,the deep adjustment of the international industry division and the continuous updating of global value chain,the development of China’s service industry has also entered a new historical period.The Party’s Nineteenth Congress made it clear that it must We will loosen market access and expand the service industry’s opening up to the outside world,thus "promoting a new pattern of openness",and expanding the opening up of the service industry has become one of the important contents of China’s construction of an open economy during the 13 th Five-Year Plan period.At the same time,with the continuous advancement of “the Belt and Road” initiative,China should take “the Belt and Road” initiative as an opportunity to promote the reform of the domestic service industry and strengthen trade cooperation with countries(regions)along “the Belt and Road” to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results,which has great significance for China to cope with the current fierce international competition and complete the transition from a service trade power to a service trade power as soon as possible.From the perspective of global value chain,this thesis uses the input and output data of 189 countries in the world from 1990 to 2013 provided by EORA 26 database.Based on the WWZ nuclear algorithm proposed by Wang Zhi et al.(2015),and decompose service industry trade exports of 61 countries(regions)along “the Belt and Road”,and calculate the added value of the service industry trade,and the hierarchical network of “the Belt and Road” service value-added trade network(including the TOP5,TOP3 and TOP1 networks)is constructed and extracted accordingly.In addition,this thesis analyzes the structural characteristics of trade network from the macro,meso and micro levels,and empirically discusses their influencing factors.The research indicates that:(1)Value-added trade in the service industries along the Belt and Road Initiatives has developed significantly faster since 2001 than before 2001,and the domestic value-added portion(DVA),which was eventually absorbed abroad,contributed the most to the growth of manufacturing trade.And there is a large room for development in the foreign valueadded part(FVA),and China is one of the main driving forces for the development of trade in the service industry along “the Belt and Road”.(2)The countries along “the Belt and Road” have close links.China and Russia occupy the most central position in the network and play a “bridge” role in the network,driving neighboring countries to continuously promote trade cooperation and development.(3)Valueadded trade networks have obvious community characteristics and can be divided into three main communities: the communities dominated by East Asia and South Asia,such as China and Singapore,and the communities dominated by Eastern Europe and Central Europe,such as Russia.The communities dominated by Iran and other countries in the Middle East and West Asia,and have outstanding geographical agglomeration characteristics.(4)The scale of the population,the free trade agreement,the common language and the scale of the economy are significantly positively related to the value-added trade network of “the Belt and Road” service industry,and have a positive effect on its structural changes.The geographical distance has a significant negative relationship with the value-added trade network and has an inhibitory effect on its structural changes.Based on the research results of this paper,the author puts forward corresponding policy recommendations have been put forward as following.First of all,China should actively promote trade cooperation with other countries(regions)to optimize market distribution.Secondly,promote reform of the service industry in China,extend the value chain,and enhance its position in the value chain.Thirdly,Cooperate with other countries to promote the infrastructure of “the Belt and Road”,promote the process of trade liberalization,and reduce trade costs.Finally,vigorously promote innovation and development,promote the two-way opening of the emerging service industry,adhere to the "going out" strategy,and at the same time pay attention to cultivating high-quality outstanding technical talents,peopleoriented,and promote the comprehensive improvement of the service industry’s innovation drive capability. |
