The problem of market segmentation has always been one of the hot research issues in China's economic problems in transition. In the process of constructing a modern market system with sufficient circulation of elements and products and efficient allocation of resources, market segmentation cannot be ignored. After China's accession to the World Trade Organization, the global economy has placed higher demands on the degree of integration of China's domestic market.China's foreign trade exports have experienced a large surplus, and foreign trade has also played an increasingly important role. Therefore,it is very necessary to study the relation between the main factor and export trade in China. It reviews the literature review of domestic and international research on market segmentation, including domestic and foreign scholars' literature on the definition, causes and measures of marketsegmentation, and reviews the research summary of the impact of market segmentation on export trade from product markets and factor markets. It is combed and summarized to provide a basis for analyzing the impact mechanism of market segmentation on export trade. Then,on the basis of literature review,it analyzes the impact mechanism of market segmentation on China's export trade, and elaborates its influence mechanism on China's export trade from two aspects which are product market segmentation and factor market segmentation. It introduces the current situation of market segmentation in China.Firstly,it introduces the method of market segmentation measurement, and calculates the three major market segmentation indexes of China from 2003 to 2017 according to the relative price method.Based on the calculated data, the status quo of regional three-market segmentation in China and the market segmentation of different regions in China in the same market are described respectively, which can provide a relatively complete understanding of the status quo of market segmentation in China. Then based on the above theoretical analysis and the corresponding status quo, using the panel data of consumption goods, capital goods and labor market segmentation, while using the level of opening up,traffic facilitation and the business scale as a control variable, using empirical regression The model performs the corresponding quantitative analysis. The final empirical results show that the segmentation of consumer goodsmarket has a positive effect on export trade, and the segmentation of capital goods market has a hindrance effect on export trade. The effect of labor market segmentation on export trade is not significant. The research ideas and methods in this paper supplement the existing literature on the impact of market segmentation on export trade, which helps to better understand the nature of market segmentation and its impact on export trade, and provides a scientific and detailed analysis basis for future reform. Therefore, under the background of China's economy, the study on the impact of market segmentation on export trade has great practical significance, and is an important factor related to the healthy and sustainable development of China's economy.
