Trade has played a vital role in shaping economic and social performance and prospects of countries around the world, especially those of developing countries. Recent debates on trade have been based on the "new" Trade Theory1 where, Economies of Scale and the consequent market structure are supposed to be the main factors that explain today’s Trade patterns. This paper analyses export performance and investigates empirical evidence with its main determinates among which Economies of scale has been given a particular attention. Our empirical strategy initially consists of building data series to capture each variable. Then the impact on export performance of these variables is investigated. This analysis used econometrical technique, namely Dynamic Panel which places the analysis in a development process framework. The output model is used to investigate empirical evidence with data take from STAN, The Structural Analysis Database of OCDE. The panel contain real data for 30 countries from 1980-2009.
