| According to the theory of scale economy,moderate scale operation of grain can reduce the production cost,obtain the government subsidy,and form scale benefit.Therefore,scale management is an effective way to increase the farmers' income.In the Case,Li Yu Tang town is one of the main commodity grain base in Yongxing County,rice planting has very important significance which is related to local people's quality of life,and even impacts local and national food security.Through questionaires design and thorough investigation in Li Yu Tang town,this essay analyses the related problems of scale benefit and cost effectiveness of rice planting.By comparing the cost and benefit of rice cultivation with the view of ordinary farmers and family farm and the large scale farm,we choose the optimal management entities,which is suitable for the local conditions and bring forward problem-focused opinions,which advance their development,thus providing some scientific basis for exploring the appropriate scale of operation.According to the comparative analysis of the basic features,development condition and cost effectiveness from the various management entities,conclusions are made as follow.Ordinary farmers who take self-sufficiency,intensive farming model get the highest yield with the smallest cost per acre,but need plenty of labor force;the opportunity cost is high but both income and profit are very low.Major workforce in the family farm are mainly family members whose agricultural income takes up most family income.Family farm are characterized by high mechanization,moderate scale,and powerful supportive policy.mainly employ farmers with high specialization,the large scale farm are highly specialized,with the majority of employees,large scale,and low per acre production cost.To a certain extent belongs to extensive management pattern.Therefore,family farm is a more feasible rice planting model in Li Yu Tang town than the large scale farm. |
