Study On Promoting Industrial Transition Of Resource-based Cities In Dongying City

Resource-based cities were first formed during the industrial revolution by rapidly gathering economic,human,transportation and political resources by taking advantage of the city’s natural resources,such as abundant coal,oil and other natural resources.Looking around the world,in the economic development process of such cities,industry plays a leading role in the development process rapidly,and the sustainable development and production of natural resources play a decisive role in urban development.Resource-based cities are usually the energy gathering places and resource supply centers of rapidly industrialized countries or regions,and their development level and scale affect the development level of a region or even a country.However,by the middle of the 20 th century,the "oil crisis" broke out in large areas all over the world.Due to the lack of overall planning and single short board of development model in the early stage of urban development,the development of some resource-based cities was seriously hindered and impacted,revealing a series of social problems and short board of economic development.With the formation of the general trend of global integration,the dependence of regional development on natural resources and natural energy has been greatly reduced,and the traditional urban development mode relying solely on resource exploitation has gradually fallen out of fashion.The development of resource-based cities is facing severe challenges.Dongying is a typical resource-based city with mature development in China.With the continuous exploitation of crude oil resources and its non-renewable nature,dongying’s inherent development mode of "relying on oil for food" is no longer suitable for the new development requirements.In this paper through refer to a large number of literature,on the basis of determining the industry transformation of dongying city as the research object of this paper,by collecting relevant industry data of dongying first-hand materials,using the analysis methods such as share deviation analysis on the current situation,advantage and development of dongying city industry transformation to delve into the problems existing in the process,and to further boost the local economy of dongying,accelerate gear industry transformation puts forward reasonable Suggestions.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which generally introduces the historical background and practical significance of the research in this paper,the current research status of resource-based cities at home and abroad at the present stage,and forms a summary based on this,as well as the main research methods adopted in this paper.The second part focuses on the concepts related to resource-based cities and industrial transformation,and provides strong theoretical support for this paper by introducing life cycle theory,new public management theory,industrial structure theory,sustainable development theory and deviation-share analysis method.The third part summarizes the basic situation of dongying city,transformation effect,development direction,urban advantages and shortcomings existing in the transformation,and makes an intuitive analysis of the industrial structure and industrial competitiveness level of dongying city through the deviation-share analysis method.The fourth part focuses on the successful experience of resource city transformation at home and abroad,and selects some typical experiences of foreign and domestic cities.The fifth part through the above analysis and summary,from four aspects to put forward the rationalization of dongying city industrial transformation Suggestions.
