At present,China has gradually shifted from a lifelong employment system to a borderless career era.And with the severe employment situation, the demand for self-perceived employability has increased. Therefore, the improvement of self-perceived employability is crucial for employees to gain competitive advantage in their work. The increase in self-perceived employability has even enabled employees to obtain employment opportunities in the fierce talent market. Many studies have shown that employees' desire to learn is a prerequisite for gaining competitive advantage and enhancing core competitiveness. And the importance of learning will becomes more and more obvious in learning society and learning enterprises. So,can the desire to learn lead to an overall improvement in the self-perceived employability? What mechanism does the desire to learn affect the self-perceived employability? What impact does the holding behaviors in the employee's environment have on the mechanism?Based on self-determination theory, the study constructs a theoretical model of the effect of desire to learn on self-perceived employability, and puts forward the hypothesis based on relevant literature in China and abroad, including the direct influence of the desire to learn on self-perceived employability and the mediating role of feedback-seeking behavior in the influence of desire to learn on self-perceived employability. And on this basis, the study discusses the moderating effect of holding behaviors. The study used questionnaire to collect data and use SPSS20.0 and AMOS21.0 to analysis data.In the data collection stage, the study used employee self-assessment method.Electronic questionnaires was distributed to formal employees from different companies, and 241 valid questionnaires were collected. The results of the data analysis have good reliability and validity, and then the study used descriptive statistical analysis, regression analysis and bootstrap test to verify the research hypothesis. The results show that the desire to learn has a significant positive impact on self-perceived employability.the desire to learn improves self-perceived employability through feedback-seeking behavior to a certain extent. When the holding behaviors is at a relatively high level, the positive impact of desire to learn on self-perceived employability and feedback-seeking behavior is weakened;when holding behaviors is at a relatively low level, the positive impact of desire to learn on self-perceived employability and feedback-seeking behavior is enhanced.Based on the above study,in order to enhance the positive impact of the desire to learn,The study suggests the following: implement a strict performance evaluation system, strengthen team building within the enterprise, strengthen the construction of the internal learning platform, and provide appropriate support to employees to promote the common development of employees and enterprises. So this study has strong theoretical and practical significance.
