As a typical ethnic minority village in southwestern China, thousands of Miao villages in Xijiang,Guizhou Province, have developed rapidly in recent twenty years, and ethnic villages with tourism economy as the main body have been formed.More and more foreign operators are engaged in tourism-related services to obtain income, especially the number of hotel operators.More than 70% of hotel operators in Xijiang Miaozhai are outsiders. They are not only different from local people but also different from tourists. They are more like a group of "temporary residents".The length of their stay in Xijiang Miaozhai depends on the hotel benefits and success or failure. For locals, they are outsiders, while for ordinary tourists, they are "locals" or "hosts".They interact with the local community through renting, building and operating hotels, and form various relationships in the process of interaction.Based on field investigation and literature review, this paper explores the interaction process between foreign hotel operators and local residents, examines their changes in the original social relations in Xijiang, and then discusses the main characteristics of the current social relations in Xijiang under the background of tourism development.Through the research,it is found that because of the tourism development and the involvement of foreign operators in the hotel industry, first of all,the relationship of housing lease, cooperative housing construction, employment and employment with the local people will be formed.Because of the different demands of economic interests and cultural backgrounds,it may form alliance or conflict with the local people.Secondly, most of the foreign managers in the hotel industry aim at profit-seeking,and maximizing their profits is their basic demand. In order to make profits or recover the cost of investment in a short time, some management strategies may occur in the operation, which may be harmful to the host, transferring risks to the real host of the scenic spot, and causing a certain degree of shock and shake to the stability of the local social relations in Xijiang. In short, the increase in the number of foreign managers in the hotel industry,on the one hand, breeds a complex social interaction relationship between "temporary hosts" and "local hosts" in the thousands of Miao villages in Xijiang;on the other hand, the original traditional blood and geographical relationship in Xijiang has not been completely marginalized, and the former mode of operation of social relations and the traditional concept of human relations are also continuing in the process of gradual change. These two kinds of relations continue to expand and jointly maintain the current social relationship structure of Xijiang. The two kinds of relations adjust each other in the dynamic process, which is not only the homeopathy of external thrust, but also the self-renewal of traditional society.
