Research On The Application Of Lean Production In Facility Planning For Connector Product

As the rapid development of information technology and Internet of Things(IoT)technology,profound changes have taken place in manufacturing production mode.Fully-automatic factory,industrial 4.0 intelligence factory sprang up,enterprises went into a more competitive stage.While lean production is a precondition for enterprises in transformation to smart factory,it is also the effective means to increase efficiency and reduce cost based on current situation.Taking the D product line of T company as an example,this paper discusses how lean production can transform the traditional production line from push mode to pull mode.Firstly,with the aid of the green field adopt lean production,lean thinking and 3P(Production Preparation Process)is used to design and optimize the facility layout,expedite the turnover of materials and reduce the transport waste of materials in circulation,meanwhile build the lean layout for pull production mode in subsequent transformation.Secondly,current value stream mapping visually describes the information flow and material flow of the present situation of the production line,identify the existing problems for current production mode,and make transformation plan for D production line through future value stream mapping design;Thirdly,we optimize production line layout via selecting the materials of supermarkets by using the screening analysis method,and build the reasonable inventory of supermarket and production batch based on the supermarket calculation mode.Fourthly,we use the electronic KANBAN technology based on SAP to build information flow of pull system and materials distribution system to establish a complete pull production system,Kanban technology will promote lean transformation from traditional push system and accelerate material distribution more efficiency,it also can reduce inventory and for customer the product on-time delivery rate have been improved significantly.The methods and ideas of lean production used in this paper have universal applicability,which can be used as a reference for the production enterprises in the transformation of production mode from push system to pull system,especially for those new foot print or production line transfer.
