With the acceleration of information globalization,informatization has become an important driving force to promote social and economic progress in all countries of the world.To a certain extent,the level of informatization has become an important symbol to measure the level of national modernization.China is an agricultural coutry with large agricultural population.It is of great significance to promote agricultural informatization.Farmers' participation is indispensable for promoting agricultural informatization.Farmers' information literacy is not only related to the allocation efficiency of rural information resources,but also to the effectiveness of agricultural informatization.Understanding the current situation of farmers' information literacy deeply and its influencing factors,finding out the factors that restrict the level of farmers' information literacy,fundamentally improving the level of farmers' information literacy,can enable farmers to better share the achievements of agricultural informatization,and add vitality to rural economic growth.The innovation of this paper lies mainly in the innovation of topic selection and method.Under the background of accelerating of agricultural informationization,there are few studies on farmers' information literacy in academia at present.Based on the research in summer vacation,the author conducts research on farmers' information literacy in rural areas.On the one hand,it expands and supplements the research of farmers' information literacy.On the other hand,it also reacts the effectiveness of agricultural informatization.In the research of the factors affecting farmers' information literacy,the author innovates the research methods,and takes farmers' individual characteristics,the way for farmers to get information and the satisfaction of information services as independent variables,uses principal component analysis,and conducts orderly logit model analysis to examine the impact of these three aspects on farmers' information literacy.The conclusions of this paper are as follows: the individual characteristics of farmers,information access channels and individual subjective perception factors of farmers will affect the information literacy of farmers.First,from the individual characteristics of farmers,the more the number of farmers' family population,the more the number of migrant workers,the lower their information literacy level may be.Men have higher information literacy than women.The younger the peasants are,the more likely they are to have higher information literacy.Farmers with higher education level,higher occupational status and higher monthly income are more likely to have higher information literacy than those with lower educational level,non-agricultural occupation and lower monthly income.Secondly,from the perspective of farmers' access to information,the higher the frequency of farmers' access to information through neighbours' relatives and friends' conversation and television,the lower their information literacy may be.In the paper media such as books,technical personnel guidance,training seminars,board newspapers and propaganda boards,and other traditional media,as well as new media channels such as mobile app applications,related information websites,Nongxintong,Weixin public numbers,the higher the frequency of farmers using these information channels,the higher their information literacy may be.Third,from the individual perception factors of farmers,the current information services,including information services for agriculture,countryside and farmers,have a high degree of satisfaction.The more farmers can identify with the phenomenon that information can improve the income level of their families and themselves,the higher farmers' willingness to pay for information on agriculture,rural areas and farmers,and the more satisfied they are with the current information service on agriculture,rural areas and farmers,the higher their information literacy may be.
