The development of family farms is of great significance to the realization of the rural revitalization strategy and plays a key role in the supply of agricultural products and ensuring national food security.With the development of The Times,the application of big data,the Internet,artificial intelligence and other new generation of information technology plays a more and more important role in Chinese agricultural development.Information literacy has become a necessary quality for the new professional farmers.The family farm is one of the main bodies of new agricultural management,and the level of farmer information literacy is related to the scientific content of Chinese agricultural production and the process of agricultural modernization.At present,the information literacy of farmers is generally poor due to the restriction of farmers’ age,education level,social network relationship and other factors.Improving farmers’ information literacy is conducive to introducing modern agricultural production technology,moderately expanding farm operation scale,promoting farm development and improving economic benefits.Therefore,it is urgent to cultivate farmers’ information literacy.It is of great significance to clarify the relationship between information literacy and economic benefits of family farms in Yulin at the present stage,explore how to improve information literacy to reduce the production cost of farms,increase their income and improve the economic benefits of family farms.In view of this,based on 200 survey data of family farms in Yulin City in 2020,this paper defines the concepts of family farms,information literacy of farmers and economic benefits of family farms,and constructs a theoretical analysis framework based on human capital theory,cost-benefit theory,production behavior theory of farmers and feasible ability theory by combing relevant literature.On this basis,first of all,a detailed descriptive statistics of the status quo of family farms in Yulin City,analysis of information literacy and economic benefits.Secondly,the index system of farmers’ information literacy is constructed and measured by factor analysis method.Finally,the results of the measurement of information literacy and economic benefits were empirically analyzed by using the ordered Logit model to study the influence of information literacy on economic benefits of family farms and analyze the mediating effect of factor allocation.Policy suggestions were put forward according to the research conclusions.This paper concludes as follows:(1)The overall level of information literacy of farmers in Yulin needs to be further improved.Due to the intensification of urbanization and rural aging,the information literacy level of farmers is not high on the whole due to the restriction of age and education level of farmers.The lack of professional technical personnel and professional management personnel in rural areas makes farmers lack of information awareness,information ability and information knowledge.(2)Farmers’ information literacy has a positive and significant impact on the economic benefits of family farms.(3)Factor allocation has mediating effect on the influence of information literacy on the economic benefits of family farms.Specifically,labor force allocation,land management area and farm fixed assets all have a positive and significant impact on income level,and information literacy has a partial mediating effect on the economic benefits of family farms.Therefore,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: to speed up the construction of family farm talent team and improve farmers’ information literacy;Optimize the allocation of factors to improve the income level;We will enhance the supply of rural financial services,standardize the land transfer mechanism,break the financial dilemma,and reduce production costs.
