The coastal zone is a connecting node between land and sea.Due to its abundant resources and advantageous geographical location,many urban agglomerations in the world are built along the coastal zone.The coastal zone has been extensively developed and the ecological environment has been destroyed.Integrating the areas with high development potential and balancing the relationship between development and utilization is the key to the sustainable development of coastal zones in the future.In the context of the construction of the Dawan District of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,the coastal zone of the Pearl River Estuary was taken as the research object.The remote sensing images of the Pearl River Estuary Coastal Zone from 1988 to 2017were interpreted to analyze the changes in shoreline and land use.According to the existing development situation,comprehensive economic and ecological factors,establish an evaluation index system based on resource and environmental carrying capacity,existing development intensity and economic development potential,and use the network analytic hierarchy process and three-dimensional puzzle model to evaluate the Pearl River estuary coastal zone.The potential of land space development in various regions.On this basis,the coastal zone land space is divided into ecological,agricultural and urban space.The background constraint principle and the barrel principle are used to superimpose the topography,geology,land space function and special protection zone map to evaluate the coastal zone.Suitability for development and utilization of land and coastline.In summary,from the macro and micro perspectives,the key development areas and development and utilization suitability of the Huanjiang River estuary area are evaluated,and the comprehensive development of the coastal zone's land space development potential and development and utilization suitability is obtained,which will serve as the future for the Greater Bay Area.Planning development provides advice.The main findings are as follows:(1)The reclamation activity is the main factor affecting the changes in the Pearl River port line.In the past 30 years,the reclamation area of the Pearl River Estuary was371.25km~2,which was mainly concentrated in 2005.The growth rate of the coastline length was also significantly faster than before.Combined with relevant planning documents,the reclamation of the Pearl River estuary was dominated by seawater aquaculture and agriculture in the 1980s and 1990s.The reclamation project gradually increased after 2000,and the reclamation was also used for urban construction and transportation.And the direction of the industry.(2)The land use in the coastal zone of the Pearl River estuary varies greatly,showing the characteristics of spatial distribution of land use and large differences in land use types.The land use change in the coastal zone of the Pearl River estuary has the characteristics of rapid increase in construction land and economic development zones with reduced agricultural land and forest land.In terms of space,the land development intensity on the east bank of the Pearl River estuary is greater than that in the west bank,especially in the offshore coastal zone.Enhanced.In recent years,the economic development zones such as Hengqin New District,Cuiheng New District and Nansha New District in the West Bank have been built along the coast.The Pearl River Estuary Coastal Zone will be the key area for future land and resources development.(3)According to the evaluation of the development potential of land and space,Zhuhai Jinwan District and Xiangzhou District,Shenzhen Futian District and Nanshan District,Zhongshan Torch Development Zone are suitable for high-intensity land development,with high degree of development and superior location conditions,facilitating high-efficiency industrial layout.It is a very high potential area;Doumen District of Zhuhai City,Baoan District of Shenzhen City,Nansha District and Panyu District of Guangzhou City,Changan Town of Dongguan and Shatian Town and Nanlang Town of Zhongshan City can adapt to a certain intensity of land development,with good development foundation and good location conditions.The land has good economic benefits and the development potential is second.(4)The development and utilization of land space in the coastal zone of the Pearl River estuary is suitable to be divided into suitable areas,general suitable areas and unsuitable areas.According to the evaluation results of the development and utilization of land-based coastal zones,the potential of land use in the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary is greater than that of the eastern bank.The proportion of suitable areas and the larger area is the three coastal areas of Shenzhen.Since the more suitable areas are mainly built-up areas that have been developed and constructed,the general suitable areas are the key areas for future development and utilization.The proportion and area of the general suitable areas are larger.Zhuhai City and Guangzhou Panyu District and Nansha District have a strong overall suitability for land development,and can develop and utilize a large range of national land.Due to the large number of basic farmland protection areas,the unsuitable area accounts for Zhuhai Doumen District and Zhongshan People's Town.(5)The development and utilization of land space in the coastal zone of the Pearl River estuary should take into account the comprehensive factors of society,economy and ecology.The development and utilization of land area does not mean that the development and utilization of the coastline is suitable.Therefore,it is necessary to comprehensively consider the suitability of land and sea areas.The comprehensive sea and land coastal zone development and utilization suitability evaluation and the prior land space development potential division are combined to obtain relatively consistent results.The areas with great development potential and strong suitability are mainly the triangles along the Pearl River estuary coast,namely Zhuhai Jinwan and Xiangzhou coastal new areas,Guangzhou Panyu District and Nansha District,Shenzhen Nanshan District and Futian District,and then according to the suitability of the coastline,Planning recommendations for the future development of the coastal zone and the Bay Area.
