Coastal Areas Of Natural Tourism Resources Development Potential Evaluation Studies

Ocean economy is the most important drive of world economy in 21th century, and coastal tourism is developing rapidly in ocean economy. In recent years, coastal vacation tourism is becoming the main tourism product because of the improvement of domestic people's life level. In 1992, there are 12 national vacation tourism resorts, and 8 of them are coastal cities.Evaluation of natural tourism resource development potential takes the natural tourism resources and related factors of tourism destination as subject of research, and evaluate the development potential of tourism with somewhat cetrtain method, which provides the scientific proof for natural tourism planning, development and management for tourism destination, and it is a guarantee conditon for the integrated development of natural tourism resources.Firstly, the paper makes a remark and conclusion of the previous research on the field, and makes a summary of coastal tourism, expounds the meanings of tourism resources, puts forwards the classification of coastal tourism natural resources. Then it makes a deep analysis on evaluation method of tourism resources, tries to find the advantages and disadvantages, generalizes the idea, connotation, purpose and principle of tourism resources evaluation systemly.Secondly, on basis of the above study, the paper chooses the natural resources related factors and social economic related factors as two main patterns, takes 14 items as index. Then, it constructs the evaluation system of natural tourism resources development potential in coastal area, and makes use of Analytic Hierarchy Process to ascertain the factors of index, and build up the evaluation mode of natural tourism resources development potential in coastal area.Thirdly, taking Shanghai as an exemple, compared to Dalian and Qiaodao, the paper collects the statistics information of natural resources and cocial economy of the three cities, to figure out the related index and complete development potential index of the three cities according to the evaluation system and mode, and makes a comparative analysis of them. Through the research, the paper try to find the advantages and disadvantages of natural tourism development potential in Shanghai coastal area, put forwards some practical coutermeasures and suggestions.In the end, the paper makes a conclusion of the study work, and makes a prospect on the study in future.
