The Informal Institution’s Impact On Start-ups’ Entrepreneurship Behavior In Beijing

Under the policy of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation",entrepreneurship has become one of the main factors to promote regional economic growth and enhance national economic competitiveness.In recent years,entrepreneurship theory has become the focus of scholars in various fields,and has achieved very rich research results in this field.In the latest research,some scholars have pointed out that institutional environment is also an important factor affecting entrepreneurship.However,traditional research focuses on how formal institutional arrangements affect entrepreneurship,while ignoring the impact of informal institutions on entrepreneurship.Therefore,on the premise of the unification of political system and economic system,this paper attempts to analyze the relationship between informal system and entrepreneurial behavior of start-ups through empirical research,verify the impact of informal system on entrepreneurial behavior in the same region,and try to use institutional theory to analyze the micro-mechanism of informal system affecting entrepreneurial behavior.On the basis of relevant research,this paper divides informal institution into two dimensions: normative institution and cultural cognitive institution,and constructs a theoretical model of informal institution,entrepreneur’s entrepreneurial experience and entrepreneurial behavior of start-ups with institutional theory as an analytical framework.On the basis of theoretical research,this paper distributes and collects questionnaires from entrepreneurs of start-ups in Beijing,uses multivariate statistical methods to study the interaction between informal system and start-ups’ entrepreneurship behavior,and verifies the moderating effect of entrepreneurs’ entrepreneurship experience on the relationship between them.The empirical results show that the normative system and cultural cognitive system significantly affect the choice of industries,locations and scales of start-ups;entrepreneurial experience as a moderating variable plays a significant positive moderating role in the relationship between normative system,cultural cognitive system and entrepreneurial behavior.The conclusion of this study has important theoretical significance and practical value.In theory,on the premise of ensuring the consistency of political system and legal system,this paper explains the internal mechanism of normative system and cognitive system influencing entrepreneurship behavior from the perspective of organizational domain.At the same time,this paper tries to reduce the research level of entrepreneurship behavior from macroenvironment to micro-environment,which provides a new perspective for the research of entrepreneurship behavior.In practice,this paper suggests that policymakers actively cultivate good social norms and cultural atmosphere,strengthen entrepreneurship education level,and encourage cooperation and coordination among governments and social institutions related to entrepreneurship,so as to promote entrepreneurs to carry out high-quality,large-scale entrepreneurship activities.
