Under the background of the new era,building a well—off society in an all-round way,basically realizing modernization,and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation have become the three main goals of China’s development.At the same time,the most important strategic task of China’s economic development is to build a modern economic system,establish a market-oriented economic system,and form an orderly and fully open market competition.Guiding consumers to choose independently and realize the free flow of commodities and factors is conducive to promoting the establishment of a modern market system.The main function of the circulation industry is to promote the transmission of information and the realization of information value.The establishment of a modern circulation system will help to form an efficient and healthy circulation industry.Promote the construction of a modern economic system.The commerce and trade circulation industry is an integral part of the circulation industry.It is a life-oriented and productive service industry.Its development level directly affects the market decision-making of both supply and demand.However,at this stage,the development quality of the commerce and trade circulation industry is not high,theoretical research can not meet the actual development needs,and it is impossible to realize the urgent desire of socialism with Chinese characteristics to enter a new era to build a modern circulation system.In addition,China’s commerce and trade circulation industry has unbalanced regional development and circulation.The problems of high cost,insufficient innovation capability,and redundant distribution channels have led to the inefficiency of the commerce and trade circulation industry and the development behind the national demand.This paper focuses on improving the efficiency of input and output,improving the efficiency of total factor productivity,industrial competitiveness and promoting the sustainable development of the industry.It combines economic theory,measurement tools and analytical methods to measure the efficiency of the trade circulation industry.Growth,and further study the impact of macroeconomic factors on the commerce and trade circulation industry,and then draw relevant conclusions and recommendations.Firstly,the thesis summarizes the relevant researches of the commerce and trade circulation industry.The two theories of circulation theory and efficiency theory are thetheoretical basis of this paper.The descriptive statistics and other methods are used to discuss the current situation of China’s commerce and trade circulation industry in terms of total amount and structure.In 1998-2017,it played an important role in the development of the national economy,but at the same time pointed out the problems of internal development imbalance and unstable growth in the commerce and trade circulation industry.Secondly,through the DEA model and the Malmquist index to measure the efficiency and growth of the commerce and trade circulation industry from 1998 to 2017,it is considered that the efficiency of China’s commerce and trade circulation industry is not high,and the efficiency gap between regions is large;however,the efficiency of commerce and trade circulation between 1998 and 2017 has obviously improved.It shows that the development level of China’s commerce and trade circulation industry has been continuously improved with time.Third,design seven macroeconomic factors(technical innovation,level of openness,capital stock,market structure,marketization level,government expenditure,and urbanization level)as explanatory variables,and study the factors affecting the efficiency of the commerce and trade circulation industry through panel models.It is believed that the level of openness,marketization,and urbanization significantly improve the efficiency of the commerce and trade circulation industry.Government expenditure and capital stock significantly reduce the efficiency of the commerce and trade circulation industry,and believe that the government’s efficiency is insufficient and the industry’s utilization of investment capital is low;further research The influencing factors of the regional commerce and trade circulation industry show that the influencing factors in the east and the west are consistent with the national trend,but the degree and the significant level are different;the influencing factors in the central region are abnormal,and the analysis is due to the internal provinces and cities in the central region.Distinctive geographical location,cultural background and climate folklore interfere with each other.Finally,based on the research results,conclusions and recommendations are made.
