As a stable branch of manufacturing industry,wooden door's production and value of output are increasing steadily and rapidly,which show a great development potential.With the continuous expansion of product demand and increase of enterprise orders,customers are increasingly demanding on the production cycle,these raise higher requirement to the operation efficiency of wooden door industry.However,at the present,the industry is still in the stage of semi-mechanical and semi-manual with low productivity,and the effective way to improve production efficiency is to study the balance of production line.Therefore,this paper studies the production line balance rate of woodworking process in wooden doors by MOD method.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:1.Taking an enterprise as an example,the operation time of wooden door production was measured by MOD method,and the load of wooden door production line was analyzed.The bottleneck process and secondary bottleneck process affecting the wooden door production line were found out.The balance rate of the production line was 48%,the smoothness index was 205,and the output was 28,000 units per year.Through the analysis of these data,two main and secondary bottlenecks were found out according to the action economic principle of MOD method.The problem of process is to provide reference and data support for later improvement.2.In an enterprise,for example,the working time of wooden door production was measured by MOD method and load analysis of the wooden door production line were carried out to find out the bottleneck process and the secondary bottleneck process affecting the wooden door production line,and it was concluded that the balance rate of the production line was 48%,the smoothness index was 205,and the output was 28,000 fan/year.According to the analysis of these data and MOD method action economy principle,the problems of the two processes of primary and secondary bottlenecks were found out,which provided reference basis and data support for the later improvement.3.After the first improvement,all parameters have been upgraded,but the production line is still in a poor state and wastes a lot of production according to the evaluation index of the production line.Therefore,according to the operation unit decomposed by MOD method,the primary and secondary bottleneck processes are continued to be divided,the operation time of each station is recalculated.The results show that the balance rate of the production line is increased to 82%,which meets the requirements of the evaluation indicators.The smoothness index is reduced to 37 and the production capacity is increased to 62000 units per year.The above data show that the operation load is more and more balanced among the processes,and the waiting phenomenon is greatly reduced,which brings great benefits to the enterprise,caters to the change of the wooden door market and achieves the expected effect of the enterprise,proving that the optimization effect is obvious.
