Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Chinese Companies Investment In Djibouti Under "One Belt One Road"

Djibouti is one of the least developed countries around the world as recognized by the United Nations,but Djibouti has a very important strategic location.It is located at the key point of the western sea routes,the first connection point between Asian,African and European markets,and the only course line leading to Europe and Africa.After the presentation of the “One Belt One Road”(OBOR)initiative,China has invested more than USD 14 billion to Djibouti.However,the Sino-Djibouti cooperation is still subject to many challenges.This paper is based on the “One Belt and One Road Initiative” to study the investment development of Chinese enterprises in Djibouti.It analyzes many disciplines such as human geography,political geography,geographic information system,economic geography,etc.The theoretical route and environment method.Through a comprehensive analysis of the investment environment in Djibouti,this paper analyzes Djibouti’s basic national conditions,natural environment,economic environment,economic policy,human environment and so on.After conducting a survey of Chinese companies investing in Djibouti,although Djibouti’s investment environment is relatively superior,there are still a series of problems such as weak agricultural foundation,backward infrastructure conditions,imperfect port logistics facilities and lagging development of processing and manufacturing industries.To a certain extent,it has affected the investment prospects and long-term development of Chinese companies in Djibouti.Therefore,this paper is aimed at the advantages and problems of Djibouti investment,from formulating a complete investment strategy for Djibouti,strengthening the social responsibility of Chinese enterprises investing in Djibouti,strengthening brand awareness,improving innovative technologies,strengthening government support for Djibouti investment,establishing and improve the relevant legal system and other five aspects to propose scientific and reasonable investment improvement proposals to achieve long-term investment development of Chinese enterprises in Djibouti.
