With the rapid development of the scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, the global value chains has been deepened and reshaped, becoming an important feature of economic globalization.China is gradually integrated into the global value chains by virtue of its labor and resources advantages.Under the large-scale "import-export-re-import" trade modes, the traditional trade statistics will obviously overestimate the real trade gains of China's producer service industry, and cannot truly reflect the status of China's producer service industry in the global value chains. Therefore,it is necessary to measure the position of China's producer service industry in the global value chains from the perspective of value-added trade.Based on the total trade flow decomposition framework proposed by Wang et al(2013)and using the WIOD database, this paper decomposes the export of China's productive service industry.this paper finds that the domestic added value of China's total industry exports accounted for 81% and the domestic added value of the service industry accounts for 89% in 2014.The conclusions show that the local added value created by the producer service industry is higher. Therefore, increasing the proportion of China's productive service industry in total exports can effectively increase the value added of China's exports, finally it can improve our position in the global value chains division of labor. This paper focuses on the export structure of China's producer service industry. It finds that the value-added value of export-oriented exports, which measures core technology, has a slow decline since the entry into the WTO.The foreign added value, which measures the degree of foreign technology dependence, has declined first and then increased. The trend, therefore, the status of China's producer services in the global value chains shows a first decline.Through the calculation of the dominant comparative advantage of the production service segmentation industry,it is found that China has only a weak dominant advantage in the two production service sectors of wholesale and retail, maintenance, research and development and related services, and the overall international competition of the production service industry. The force is weak.In order to further understand which factors have positively promoted the status of the producer service industry in the global value chains, this article from the production factors, technology development level, foreign direct investment, economic development level, manufacturing development level and trade openness six at the level, theoretical and empirical analysis was carried out.The study found that production factors, technological development levels, trade openness, and economic development levels have significant positive effects.Based on the above analysis results, this paper proposes the promotion path of China's productive service industry in the global value chains from the aspects of talent introduction and cultivation, implementation of innovation strategy, improvement of infrastructure, correct guidance of foreign capital flow, and increase of trade opening.
