With the reform and opening up of more than 40 years,the market economy develops rapidly,clothing industry market competition becomes increasingly fierce,and consumer demand for products is becoming more diversified.For manufacturing enterprises,they should not only have advanced technology and large-scale plant,but also provide high-quality services to meet customer needs,among which a high on-time delivery rate is undoubtedly an important standard for enterprises to win more market shares.So delivery rate on time is more and more important to the development of enterprises.This paper takes the current situation of delivery rate on-time of company A in the clothing industry as the entry point,and the production data of company A from January 2017 to June 2018 for nearly one and a half years as the sample,and analyzes it from the following levels:Firstly,this paper lists the current situation and problems of A company’s low on-time delivery rate and analyzes the factors affecting the delivery rate based on the analytic hierarchy process,involving four main factors such as market,procurement,production and management and 16 sub-factors,and the influence ranking is conducted.Secondly,it focuses on optimization of the key problems.In view of the unscientific classification of materials in procurement management and the lack of assessment system for auxiliary material suppliers,the ABC classification management and supplier evaluation system establishment are proposed respectively.In view of the problems of unreasonable production scheduling in production management,the paper puts forward the improvement schemes of order optimization and production sequencing.Moreover,an effective information communication and feedback channel is established from the perspective of management personnel.Finally,the above program has been implemented and verified for half a year,and the results are as follows:no matter the inventory and inventory turnover of procurement management,the delivery rate on time of auxiliary materials,the production scheduling achievement rate of production management,or customer satisfaction,etc.,all have been significantly improved,and the goal of customers has been gradually achieved.
