Study On Cultivation Of New Farmers In Hunan Province

The rapid development of urbanization in China has greatly promoted the change of China's social and economic structure,especially the rural areas's social and economic structure such as the decline of agriculture,hollowing out of rural areas and the differentiation of farmers.At the same time,it has also brought great opportunities for the development of rural areas.The demand for agricultural products and the increase of tourism and leisure in rural areas from the cities and towns,the scale of rural industrial operation,modernization and expansion of rural markets,and the preferential protection of rural areas by state policies,have provided new temptation and motivation for the development of rural areas.In addition,the limitation of employment space in cities and towns has also forced many successful or ordinary people,including some urban white-collar workers,migrant workers with experience and technology,newly graduated college students and so on,to look up to the countryside.These people are called new farmers.They are engaged in various agricultural products and services in rural areas with their own vision,entrepreneurial enthusiasm,technology,resources,products and business models,which bring new development to rural areas.They not only promote the economic development of rural areas,but also create many opportunities for farmers to find jobs at home.Their contribution to rural areas is comparable to that of village doctors and village officials,and is praised as a new hope of new countryside.In this context,based on the development of Hunan new farmers in rural areas,using human capital theory,innovation theory,entrepreneurship theory and urban-rural integration theory,through questionnaires and literature review method,this paper preliminarily understands the development status of Hunan new farmers,summarizes the existing problems,and constructs the basic framework of cultivating new peasants from the individual characteristics of new farmers cultivation,external intervention and involvement and agriculture itself.On this basis,the paper puts forward series of hypotheses and uses factor analysis method to analyze the factors affecting the cultivation of new peasants.Finally,by drawing on the successful experience of professional peasants cultivation in developed countries such as Germany,the United States and Japan,the author puts forward to some policy suggestions on the cultivation of new peasants in Hunan Province.
