A Study On The Chinese Regional Finance Resources Distribution Differences And Its Effects On Economy

In the process of Reforming & Opening up and economic transition,Chinese Finance Industry grow up in an incredibly pace.However,China has a vast territory,so the levels of regional economic and social development are very different.Due to the differences in history elements and resource quality,there are huge differences between the coastal and inland areas,among the eight economic regions and within these economic regions.So the phenomenon of regional finance resources distribution differentiation is very obvious.This paper defines what is the regional finance and regional financial differences and summarizes the features of finance development theories and regional finance differences.And then analyze the status of financial differentiation of the eight major economic regions in China,the evolution of regional financial resources differentiation,the effects on economic differences of finance differences and the reasons for it,possible solutions to reduce financial differentiation and so on.First,on the basis of former four regions,this paper divides Chinese economic regions as “The Northeast Comprehensive Economic Zone,the Northern Comprehensive Economic Zone,the Eastern Comprehensive Economic Zone,the Southern Comprehensive Economic Zone,the Middle Yellow River Integrated Economic Zone,the Middle Yangtze River Integrated Economic Zone,the Southwest Comprehensive Economic Zone and the Greater Northwest Comprehensive Economic Zone”,using statistic data of 31 provinces which belongs to eight economic regions during 2008-2017 to implement an indices macro-analysis of the overall situation of financial resources differences of the eight Economic regions and its changing trend.And then,from the view of industry,this paper makes use of indicators of Bank Industry,Insurance Industry and Securities Industry to measure the size of the financial resources differences.Next is the part of empirical analysis,using Theil Index to measure the evolution of regional financial differentiation.Finally,this paper does an empirical study on the effects of financial resources differentiation to Chinese economy and an analysis of the root causes.Then this paper proposes the countermeasures of reducing the regional financial difference to help realizing the coordinated development of regional Economic Industry and Finance Industry.
