Internal Control Problems And Improvement Of City Commercial Banks

The banking industry is one of the four major domestic financial industries,and it has a guiding role in the economy.City commercial banks have continued to achieve good results with their creativity and vitality.Like listed banks such as Bank of Beijing and Bank of Shanghai,their scale has greatly surpassed the trend of joint-stock banks.However,the internal control construction of the city commercial bank is not as good as that of the large banks.There are still many areas for improvement to better cope with various risks and improve operational efficiency.This paper adopts the inductive summarization method.First,it introduces the internal control theory and the experience of other banks.This paper takes a small city commercial bank as an example by using case analysis method,and takes the design questionnaire and conducts a questionnaire survey for professionals after introducing the current situation of the bank.Finally,the results of the comprehensive questionnaire are used to judge the existing internal control problems of the city commercial bank,and the five elements of the motivation are analyzed.The final conclusion is presented in the form of SWOT.City commercial banks should seize the opportunity,give full play to their advantages and avoid disadvantages,and strengthen internal control from four strategic directions in five aspects.Wish these can provide reference for other city commercial banks.
