| Advance selling has been chosen and accepted by more and more e-commerce companies and consumers,but it’s common for consumers to cancel orders in advance.Compared to spot sales,advance selling owns a longer order delivery time.However,consumer request for increasing timeliness is urgent,so that the order delivery time has been one of the important factors that affect consumers’ consumption choices.Shortening the order delivery time can stimulate demand to increase consumer loyalty to a certain extent,but also driven down its consumption costs.The purpose of inventory allocation is to meet the economic needs and time preferences of consumers in different situations,to maximize profits and enhance the competitiveness of e-commerce companies.Therefore,e-commerce enterprises should reasonably carry out inventory allocation.In such a context,this dissertation focuses on the seasonal bestsellers with large demand and short sales cycle and studies different decision-making schemes for e-commerce enterprise inventory allocation with the time preference and profit preference,combined with the status quo of e-commerce inventory allocation and comprehensive consideration of the impact factors of the secondary configuration of e-commerce.First,this dissertation defines the research content and related concepts and further combines the current situation of storage and allocation of e-commerce enterprises.It clarifies the current problem of unreasonable inventory allocation and low consumer time satisfaction of e-commerce enterprises.Then it analyzes the key factors affecting the inventory allocation of e-commerce enterprises.This dissertation dissects the consumer demand in terms of consumer utility and Regret Theory,and it dives into consumer time satisfaction in combination with the delivery time of orders and the expected delivery time of consumers.Next,with the goal of maximizing profit and maximizing time satisfaction,the dissertation builds a two-echelon inventory allocation model for inventory distribution and inventory sinking.Finally,the feasibility and effectiveness of the model are verified by a case.It carries the sensitivity analysis of the parameters such as time sensitivity,logistics cost and the rate of an outstanding balance.E-commerce enterprises should adopt different inventory allocation schemes according to diverse purposes.By analyzing the model and the example,the following conclusions can be drawn:Firstly,inventory sinking of e-commerce enterprise can significantly improve consumer time satisfaction.The greater inventory-sink of each terminal distribution station,the more satisfied consumers are.Meanwhile,inventory sinking cannot be improved by continuing to increase its amount when the time satisfaction reaches a certain level.Secondly,the inventory of the distribution center should be raised,and inventory sink to the terminal distribution station should be correspondingly reduced when an outstanding balance rate is high,namely,when the consumer behavior is uncertain.Thirdly,the reverse logistics cost increases,the downward inventory distribution to the terminal distribution station will be accordingly reduced. |
