Since the reform and opening up,China’s retail industry has developed rapidly and has become one of the fastest growing industries in the national economy.As one of the most important industries in China’s economic system,the retail industry affects all aspects of economic life,and plays a very important role in economic growth and employment,especially in the context of the increasingly developed science and technology and logistics technology.The retail industry has good prospects for development.However,with the rapid development of the economy,the development of the retail industry is also facing some problems,which leads to problems such as slow growth and insufficient stamina in the retail industry.As a sales industry,the retail industry has a very large transaction volume.On the one hand,it will be directly and significantly affected by national consumption,and on the other hand,it will be affected by various trading technologies.In this regard,this paper studies to explore the factors affecting the development of the retail industry from the perspective of trading technology.The research in this paper is based on the following steps: Firstly,it introduces relevant research at home and abroad from the aspects of retail industry and transaction technology,which provides solid research guidance and theoretical support for the later research.Secondly,from the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,the paper analyzes the trading technology of China’s retail industry.The theoretical analysis part introduces the development of China’s retail industry and the trading technology related to retail industry.It selects 8 relevant indicators and establishes a technical index system for retail trade.In the empirical analysis section,the China Statistical Yearbook and some industry reports from 2000 to 2017 were selected.Using factor analysis,the main factors affecting China’s retail trade technology and the comprehensive score of trading technology were obtained.Next,the study uses the comprehensive score of trading technology as the trading technology index,selects per capital GDP as the control variable,and the total retail sales of per capital social consumer goods as the dependent variable to measure the development of the retail industry,using the linear regressionmethod for the trading technology index,per capital GDP and per capital The total retail sales of social consumer goods are subjected to regression analysis,and the relationship between retail trading technology and its retail growth is obtained.Then through the case study of the retail technology of Shanxi Province and the growth of retail industry in Shanxi Province,the accuracy of the above analysis was verified,and the problems and corresponding countermeasures of the development of retail industry in Shanxi Province were discussed.Finally,by analyzing the above empirical results,several countermeasures and suggestions for improving retail trading technology are put forward,and the shortcomings and research prospects of the paper are expounded.The conclusions of this paper are summarized as follows: First,with the passage of time,from 2000 to 2017,the trading technology level of the retail industry has increased,while the retail sales of per capital social consumer goods in the retail industry has increased.Second,the development of China’s retail industry is significantly affected by trading technology,which is embodied in: logistics technology,transportation network,information technology,capital flow technology and educational technology.
