A Study On The Land Transfer Of The Laohuzui Terraced Field In Yuanyang County

This paper takes Laohuzui terraced field of Yuanyang terraces core which is located Mengpin village in Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture as a case study point,according to the existing research about land transfer,the terrace tourism development,terrace farming cultural heritage protection research,and starting from the study field of national science.I want to grasp what the farmers in the village treat their terraced fields,and how to change their relationship with the terraces.Under the background of development of rural tourism in ethnic areas of land(especially arable land)transfer,I try to study social cultural change and social structure reconstruction brought about by the land transfer.Before entering the field of vision of the outside society and the tourism market,the Laohuzui terraces are only the farming land and the main livelihood modes of the local people.Therefore,their life,production,culture and social relations of the terraces are all centered on the farming culture and traditions.However,under the country’s social economic system and development trend,terraced farming can’t maintain its primordial development of the traditional in "vacuum" environment,it can not avoid contradictory which affected by rapidly growing population and limited cultivated land,works of new rice cultivation and promotion,planting of economic crops,agricultural labor force gradually lost,farming ecological environment by natural or man-made destruction,the influence of the national land policy and rural development strategy,and the influence of tourism economy.It is objectively caused the Hani terrace facing modern development challenges,and People whose livelihood is terraced farming terraced is no longer purely rely on agricultural production,they would rather chose "non-agricultural industries".All of these are bound to lead the traditional farming program to change,farming culture can’t get effective inheritance,Hani terraced farming culture is in a crisis situation.Hani terraced fields,however,both as a traditional agricultural economy development elements,or as a resource of the tourism economic development now,or after the success of the properties as the object of the protection of world cultural heritage,the development of agricultural production and the protection of the terraced landscape is the most basic and crucial,and what is said above need take terrace farming culture of "living state" inheritance and development as the premise.On the one hand,the practical activities of tourism companies in the transfer of agricultural land liberated some labors who are "tied" in the agricultural production activities of terraced fields with low economic returns,which makes the choice of villagers’livelihood mode more free and diversified,and provides possibilities for increasing farmers’ economic returns.On the other hand,tourism companies in the transfer of agricultural land development and terrace tourism related to the industrialization of agriculture,thus promoting the transf’ormation of tourism and promoting the development of"region-wide tourism construction.However,in the process of in-depth development,the tourism companies have more complicated interests and social relations with people inside the village.Ater the villagers passively enter the land transfer,their "subject" consciousness is not strong,and their development interests tend to edge.In the process of pursuing its own economic benefits,the company applies the modern management mode and mechanical equipment in the agricultural production of terraced fields,which is bound to lead to further changes in the traditional farming culture.The entry of the new social economic organization—the farmer industry cooperative,reconstructs the function of the original social organization structure inside the village and the social relations inside and outside the village.In theory,the land transfer of the Laohuzui terraces is a creative development exploration path choice according to the current terraces protection and the existing problems of traditional culture.However,if the cultural heritage of terrace farming cannot be protected with the practitioners of terrace farming as the main body,the changes of the agricultural social structure of Hani and Yi communities and the adjustment of traditional culture will not be considered.If the development of terrace tourism cannot effectively and deeply combine the characteristic agricultural industry,traditional farming culture and terrace tourism,the path that the government leads and the enterprise capital enters the land transfer to protect the agricultural heritage of the Laohuzui terrace and promote the development of tourism will be necessary in-depth reflection and prudent exploration.
