| Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly,and people’s desire for consumption has gradually increased.Under this background,credit card business has emerged and flourished in China at the historic moment.By the end of 2018,China’s credit card issuance has exceeded 700 million,and the cumulative composite growth rate of credit card issuance from 2002 to 2018 is more than 23%.It is the big banks that see the broad development prospects of the domestic credit card market.In order to quickly seize the market share,major banks have joined the army of issuing credit cards,and the bad rate of credit card issuance of banks has increased rapidly.By the end of the first quarter of 2018,the total amount of overdue credit cards for half a year was 71.148 billion yuan,an increase of 7.29% annually,eight times more than the total amount of less than 10 billion loans overdue in 2010.At the same time,in recent years,there has been news that many banks attach too much importance to the number of credit card issuance and lax audit,which leads to the expansion of individual overdraft and increases the risk of bank operation.The risk problems of credit cards increase the possibility of losses faced by banks,cardholders and other related groups,which has changed from simple bank risk problems to widespread social problems.HY branch of Bank of Communications began to operate credit card business in 2001,and achieved a continuous breakthrough in the development of credit card business in just over ten years.By the end of 2017,it had issued 470,000 cards,and its market share and brand awareness had been improved.However,under the macro background of the development of China’s credit card industry at this stage,the risk problems faced by Bank of Communications HY Branch in the development of credit card business are constantly emerging.By the end of 2017,the non-performing rate of credit card assets has reached 2.78%,which is far higher than the average level of the national banking industry.Therefore,how to strengthen the understanding of credit card risk management and correctly identify the risk factors of credit card business has become an important prerequisite to further improve the comprehensive level of credit card business risk management of Bank of Communications HY Branch.In view of this,this paper starts with investigating the present situation of credit card business risk management of HY Branch of Bank of Communications,analyses the characteristics of credit card business such as quality of issuance,customer structure and auditing operation,summarizes the main risks faced by its credit card business,and on the basis of integrating the existing research results,uses Forward: Conditional method to influence the credit card business risk management of HY Branch of Bank of Communications.The factors are identified,and the causes are analyzed.Finally,targeted improvement measures are put forward. |
