Research On Financial Support Of Hekou-Laoiie Cross-border Economic Cooperation Zone

As a model of opening up along the southwestern border of China,the cross-border economic cooperation zone plays an important role in stimulating the economic development of the border areas."Opinions of the State Council on Supporting Several Policies and Measures for the Development and Opening of Key Areas Along Border Areas"pointed out that cross-border economic cooperation zones and other key areas along the border are important platforms for China to deepen cooperation with neighboring countries and regions,which play an important role in the overall situation of national reform and development.The construction of the three major cross-border economic cooperation zones in Yunnan Province has been launched one after another,but their speed of advancement is not ideal.Finance,as the engine of modern economic growth,plays a vital role in the construction and development of cross-border economic cooperation zones.However,at present,there is a lack of research on the development of cross-border economic cooperation zones,especially financial support for cross-border economic cooperation zones.The theoretical research of cross-border economic cooperation zones is obviously lagging behind practice.Based on the analysis of the representative theory of financial support,this paper takes the Hekou-Laojie cross-border economic cooperation zone as the research object,analyzes its construction progress and the factors that restrict its development,and financial support for the construction of the estuary-old street straddle zone.The slow pace of development at the national level between China and Vietnam,a large gap in infrastructure construction funds and weak industrial support capacity are the main factors restricting the development of the Hekou-Laojie cross-border economic cooperation zone,and the cross-border RMB settlement business is imperfect,the lack of financial talents and poor financial infrastructure are the main obstacles to financial support for the construction and development of the Hekou-Laojie cross-border economic cooperation zone.Then,this paper draws on the experience of domestic and foreign financial support cross-region construction,combined with the actual situation of infrastructure construction and industrial development in Hekou-Laojie cross-border economic cooperation zone,analyzes the overall thinking and system of financial support for the construction of Hekou-Laojie cross-border economic cooperation zone.The framework can referenced by other cross-border economic cooperation zones.Finally,in view of the problems in financial support for the construction of the Hekou-Laojie cross-border economic cooperation zone,the financial issues were raised from strengthening intergovernmental cooperation,creating a sound financial support environment,improving financial infrastructure,innovating RMB cross-border business,and strengthening the talent team.Suggestions for supporting the construction and development of the Hekou-Laojie cross-border economic cooperation zone.
