A Study On The Influence Of Foreign Trade Structure On Industrial Structure Change

As the region with the most developed economy and the fastest development in China,eastern China has achieved the transformation from high speed to high quality development.In addition,the region's dependence on foreign countries has been continuously improved in recent years,so it is of great significance to study its economic development.Based on the analysis of panel data in eastern China,this paper studies the influence of foreign trade structure on industrial structure change by combining theoretical and empirical research,and draws corresponding conclusions and enlightenments.In terms of theory,the theoretical basis of this research is expounded by combining Comparative Advantage Theory,Factor Endowment Theory,Geese Theory,Product Life Cycle Theory and Naive Industrial Protection Theory,which make us have a deep understanding of the influencing mechanism of foreign trade structure and industrial structure.In the aspect of empirical analysis,the problems studied in this paper are analyzed based on the Chanery Semi-logarithm Model,Regression Model and Structural Effect.In the first part of the empirical analysis,it can be concluded that the third industry has strong and positive relationship between both import and export proportion.The proportion of the first and second industry has strong relationship with primary product,the proportion of first industry and its export has a positive correlation,the proportion of secondary industry and its export has a reverse correlation.In the second part of the empirical analysis,based on the Structural Effect,it can be concluded that the export structure has a reverse effect on industrial structure change,while import structure has a positive effect on industrial structure change.At the end of the article,based on the preceding text,we can find some economic problems in eastern China even in China faced at present stage,and put forward some suggestions towards these problems: optimize the product export and import structure to promote industrial structure upgrade;optimize industrial structure to create more efficient interactions between product export and import structure.
