The "invisible champion theory" put forward by German professor Hermann Simon found that "the sustained development of German export trade and even the overall economy is mainly due to small and medium-sized enterprises,especially some small and medium-sized enterprises that are leading in the international market but have no name".In June 2018,central bank governor,Yi gang,at the 10th Lujiazui financial BBS pointed out that "small micro enterprises has to more than 90%of the total number of market main body,they contributed 80%of the country's job opportunities,and about 70%of the patent invention right,and more than 60%of GDP and more than 50%of the tax",but their life is short,with high mortality,"the small and medium-sized enterprises(SMES)lived to an average of eight years,Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises(SMES)lived to an average of 12 years,our country's small and medium-sized enterprises(SMES)lived to an average of 3 years or so.",according to the national bureau of statistics data released that the construction industry's output growth rate down to single digits for the first time in 2015,in recent years,the construction industry market still presents the downward trend,with the market shrinks,less resources,lack of brand influence,combined with the internal management is not standard,the lack of the talents,and a series of other factors makes the small and medium-sized enterprises is faced with great survival pressure.It can be seen that whether from the perspective of the market environment or the internal environment of the enterprise,it is difficult for the small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction industry to develop and grow.It is of vital importance for small and medium-sized enterprises to establish confidence,trying to identify their own positioning,improve competitiveness and enterprise management level,and then enhance the ability resisting risks.Effective risk management,which can make the enterprise fully understand the nature of the risks,risk and its influence degree,provided a basis for implementation of the rationalization,scientific decision-making,and then to take measures to reduce risk loss to the lowest degree for companies,or be able to after the losses have occurred take timely manners to provide reasonable compensation,to reduce the enterprise cost and promote the growth of economic benefits.Taking Small engineering enterprise B company as an example,this paper elaborates on the status quo of risk management and the process of constructing its risk management system.The main framework of this paper is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,describes the background of this paper and the research significance.The research significance is discussed from both theoretical and practical perspectives.In practice,it is to provide operable risk management construction ideas for the research objects.Then,by summarizing the research viewpoints and achievements related to risk management at home and abroad,the generation and development of risk management are briefly described in chronological order.Finally,the research ideas and methods adopted in this paper are introduced,and the content of this paper is briefly summarized.In chapter 2,the theoretical basis of this paper is introduced.The ERM framework of enterprise risk management provides a structured and three-dimensional risk management system at the overall level of the enterprise.In addition,due to the particularity of the industry in which the research object is located,the project risk and its risk assessment are defined.The third chapter mainly describes the current situation of risk management of the company.It is carried out according to the basic situation of the company and the problems existing in the company's risk management.In describing the problems existing in the risk management of the company,it shows the areas to be improved in the risk management of the research object in an all-round way according to the elements of the ERM framework.The fourth chapter is the company's process of risk management system construction according to the internal environment,goal setting,event identification,risk assessment,risk response and control activities,monitoring,for the construction of system in detail,the process of risk assessment and response is the key part among them,the risk assessment is contained in the engineering project risk identification and evaluation,then specific solutions are put forward according to the results of the assessment.The fifth chapter is the safeguard measures for the construction of the company's risk management system,which is mainly about the improvement of the corporate governance structure and organizational structure.The final part is the research's conclusion,the object facing with the risks mainly includes the financial risk,operational risk,legal and compliance risk and market risk,etc.,and based on the research limitations and shortcomings are briefly described,due to the diversity of the project,the conclusion may not apply to other enterprises of this industry,and in the future we must improve and innovative risk management techniques and tools.
