Research On Cost Control Of SF Express Supply Chain

With the continuous improvement of economic system,consumers' demand for express delivery and logistics service is improving in the increasingly competitive market,more and more enterprises want to use price advantage to win competitiveness,therefore,express logistics enterprises must try their best to meet the requirements of customers and provide them with high-quality services at the lowest price.In this situation,China's express logistics industry is under the double pressure of price reduction and cost increase,the profit margin is gradually decreasing,and enterprises should take effective measures to control the cost if they want to maximize the value,So as to achieve the goal of whole social logistics cost reduction.The change of the above economic conditions makes the competition between related enterprises in the supply chain replace the competition of individual enterprises,the reduction of the integrated cost of supply chain logistics has become the mainstream,express logistics enterprises become the link between enterprises in the supply chain.Therefore,domestic express logistics enterprises should understand the operation process of the whole supply chain as soon as possible,and actively participate in it according to their own characteristics,control the cost of logistics enterprises from the perspective of the whole supply chain,improve the development of cost control.In this paper,SF Express,an enterprise with strong influence in express logistics industry,is selected as the research object,based on the literature research on the cost management of the supply chain,the current situation of cost control is analyzed from two aspects: External supply chain and internal supply chain,and then evaluate the overall effect of supply chain cost control through comprehensive analysis,and find the problems in its supply chain cost control.It is found that the proportion of SF express cost to operating income decreases year by year,the proportion of logistics cost to operating income has significantly decreased in recent five years,customer satisfaction is high,which indicates that it has achieved some results in cost control,but there are still problems,specifically,labor cost and outsourcing cost account for a high proportion of operating revenue,large operating expenses and unreasonable structure,lack of customer maintenance cost analysis,customer retention costs are higher and so on.In view of the above problems,put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen supply chain cost control,it also puts forward some supporting measures for consummating cost control of supply chain.
