With the continuous changes in the environment and the increase in market competition,knowledge and information have become an important foundation for the development of enterprises,and the trend of knowledge networking is evident.Under the background of networked innovation,the ambidextrous innovation of enterprises will not only be affected by the network conditions such as network embedding and network routines,but also be affected by knowledge collaboration,such as knowledge search,sharing and creation.Although some scholars have carried out a series of studies,they have not formed a complete analysis framework and lacked empirical research based on the Chinese enterprises.Therefore,in light of the deficiencies of past research,this paper intends to conduct research on the following issues:(1)Whether the network embeddedness in has an impact on ambidextrous innovation;(2)What is the role of knowledge network embeddedness in the ambidextrous innovation for enterprises?How does a company use knowledge networks to promote ambidextrous innovation?(3)What role does knowledge collaboration play between knowledge network embeddedness and ambidextrous innovation.(4)What role does network routine play between knowledge network embeddedness and ambidextrous innovation.This paper systematically reviews the basic theories of knowledge network embeddedness,network routine,knowledge collaboration and ambidextrous innovation.Clarifys the relationships among the various variables,and to explores the function of the different dimensions of network routine and knowledge collaboration between the knowledge network embeddedness and ambidextrous innovation.Next,it puts forward research hypothesis and builds theoretical model.Then,it designs questionnaires and collect data for empirical research.Finally,this paper uses the reliability and validity analysis,fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis,structural equation model analysis and hierarchical regression analysis to empirically test the collected sample data,and judge whether the proposed theoretical model and research hypothesis are established.The following conclusions are obtained:(1)Knowledge network embeddedness promotes knowledge collaboration.Knowledge network embeddedness and knowledge collaboration contribute to ambidextrous innovation.In addition to the direct influence of knowledge network embeddedness and knowledge collaboration on ambidextrous innovation,the combination of knowledge network embeddedness,exploring and using routine,knowledge search,sharing and creation will also significantly promote radical innovation and incremental innovation.From the above,there are multiple causality paths leading to ambidextrous innovation performance.(2)Knowledge search fully mediates the relationship between knowledge network embeddedness and ambidextrous innovation.Knowledge sharing plays a full mediating role in knowledge network embeddedness and incremental innovation,and knowledge creation acts as a full mediating role in knowledge network embeddedness and radical innovation.Moreover,the indirect influence of knowledge network embeddedness based on knowledge collaboration to ambidextrous innovation is greater than the direct impact between the two.(3)Network routine moderates the relationship between knowledge network embeddedness and knowledge collaboration to improve ambidextrous innovation.Among them,the exploring routine’s moderated effect is confirmed between knowledge network embeddedness,knowledge search and knowledge creation.Using routine has a significant moderated effect in the relationship of knowledge network embeddedness,knowledge search and knowledge sharing.
