With the world economic downturn and economic China bid farewell to the era of rapid growth,the global mining industry because of flooding and power weakened into the depth adjustment phase,and the amount of the global mining industry investment in China began to decline process.As the "blood" of modern industry,the importance of mineral resources is self-evident,but as a mineral resource discoverer and producer,the geological and mining enterprises are caught in the bottleneck of development due to the cyclical changes in the economy.In addition,in the last century in 70s and 80s due to mining industry depression is common to enterprise of construction industry,now still occupy a certain proportion in the enterprise business,but now it is facing due to the low-end and intensified competition in the small and medium-sized private enterprises.M investment company as a member of nonferrous mineral enterprises in the harsh external environment for this type of enterprise is a huge challenge,but at the same time,the use of low tide to optimize business combination,the accumulation of technology and capital strength,is also full of opportunities.And all this success is inseparable from the development of appropriate development strategies.Based on the theoretical basis of the strategy,firstly explains the related theories of strategy as foreshadowing,followed by a preliminary diagnosis of M company and the comparative analysis shows that the existence of the ability of profit growth is far lower than the growth of assets,through the strategic choice and business optimization to solve.Therefore,on the basis of the quantitative and qualitative analysis,a detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the PEST and SWOT strategic analysis tools of M company facing the external environment the opportunities and challenges as well as based on the company's own actual,found that although the economic downturn and tighter environmental protection produced certain adverse effects on the company's survival and development,but with the development of urbanization,the scope of national marine development,geological industry becomesdeeper,M company also has multiple development opportunities,so according to the conclusions of the analysis to determine the basic framework of strategic choice.Secondly,the smile curve leads to the M company to optimize the business combination,the future business development opportunities for comprehensive mining,primary exploration business,new resources and derivatives business,construction business four strategic sectors.Again,through the M company's actual ability and the extent of the plate,the 5 stages of the strategic objectives and strategic measures.Finally,the paper puts forward the corresponding measures to ensure the implementation of the strategy from the aspects of organization and management,personnel,incentive,coordination,funds and so on.
