In recent years,the integration process of the Yangtze River Delta has been continuously promoted.In November 2018,the regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta officially rose to the national strategy.As the most dynamic,open-minded and innovative region in China,the Yangtze River Delta region accounts for the country.The geographical area of 1/26,which accounts for 1/6 of the country's resident population,has created nearly a quarter of the country's total economic output,and has a pivotal influence and status in China's economic and social development.The Yangtze River Delta region has distinct cultural characteristics,strong tourism resources,and frequent tourist exchanges.It is an important tourist source and tourist destination.For a long time,tourism interaction has been closer,and regional tourism cooperation has formed a relatively solid foundation.Regional tourism cooperation has increasingly become an important support and driving force for promoting the integration of the Yangtze River Delta.In 2018,the Yangtze River Delta region proposed to build a highquality world famous.Vacation destination.Therefore,this paper selects the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as the research area,explores the characteristics of the time and space behavior of inbound tourists,and understands the degree of preference of the inbound tourists and the city rankings of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration(26 cities in the three provinces of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai).The urban AOI distribution area of the city analyzes the time and space behavior characteristics of inbound and outbound tourists in major cities from 2004 to 2018.The conclusions of the study provide decision-making basis for destination marketing and visitor management.Based on the theory of tourism flow,this study uses literature review method,nuclear density analysis method and Visualization Analysis of Large Data to analyze the spatio-temporal behavior of inbound tourists visiting the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.The main research content has three aspects: First,explore the time and space behavior of inbound tourists between cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.The specific content involves the IPS analysis of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration and the study of the tourist hotspots of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration;secondly,the time and space behavior of inbound tourists within the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations.The specific content includes the analysis of the spatial and temporal characteristics of inbound tourism hotspots in Shanghai,Suzhou,Nanjing and Hangzhou.The study has five levels of conclusions: First,the IPS spatial pattern of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is “one super-strong and strong”;second,the spatial and temporal evolution of IPS in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is significant;third,the spatial and temporal distribution of AOI in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is significant;Fourth,the AOI in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations is concentrated in areas with developed commercial development,profound historical and cultural accumulation,and rich modern life.Fifth,the spatial and temporal distribution of AOI within the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations is significant.
