As the priority area for implementation of the "Belt and Road"initiative, infrastructure interconnection requires the consumption of a large amount of construction materials such as steel,cement,non-ferrous metals, and glass, which can promote international production capacity and equipment manufacturing cooperation between China and countries along the route; As a country along the"Belt and Road Initiative"initiative, the state has backward infrastructure and large space for development.Accelerating infrastructure connectivity between China and ASEAN will be of great importance in building a China-ASEAN interest community and fate community and realizing the"One Belt and One Road"initiative.Because of its theoretical and practical significance, therefore,China and ASEAN have chosen cooperation in infrastructure construction as the research object. The article contains six chapters, and its main ideas:First, from the ASEAN infrastructure status,China has the capital, technology, capacity advantages and"One Belt and One Road"initiative and other aspects of the three aspects of China and ASEAN infrastructure construction cooperation.Secondly,it analyzes the current status of China-ASEAN infrastructure construction cooperation and empirically analyzes the industrial pulling effect of infrastructure construction based on the input-output table.Thirdly, although China and ASEAN’s cooperation in infrastructure construction has achieved initial success, there are also many constraints that have hindered the process of cooperation between China and ASEAN in infrastructure construction, mainly reflecting geopolitical complexity, lack of mutual political trust, and infrastructure industry standards. There is a lack of uniformity, difficulty in coordination, inadequate investment protection mechanisms, and inadequate financial support. Finally, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed in response to the challenges faced by cooperation in infrastructure construction.Under the implementation of the s"One Belt and One Road" initiative,it is proposed to strengthen policy communication, enhance strategic mutual trust, strengthen coordination mechanisms, coordinate interests among countries, focus on promoting Chinese standards, raise awareness of risk prevention, establish safety protection mechanisms, improve financing platforms, and broaden Financing channels and other measures. |
