A Study On The Current Situation Of Agricultural Insurance In Zhejiang Coastal Areas

Our country is a big agricultural country.The development of agricultural economy is not only directly related to the social and economic development of our country,but also directly affects the living standard and quality of our farmers.Therefore,in the daily work of our government,how to solve the current problems in agricultural development and better promote the development of agricultural industry has always been the focus of its work.Compared with other areas in China,coastal areas have their own particularities in agricultural development because of their special geographical location and meteorological characteristics,especially because they are often affected by disastrous weather such as drought,rain and waterlogging,thunder and lightning,frost,hail,typhoon and so on,which will seriously restrict the development of agricultural industry and economy in coastal areas.According to incomplete statistics,in China's coastal areas,nearly 100 billion agricultural-related economic losses are caused by various disasters every year.How to solve the problem of agricultural economic development in coastal areas has always been the top priority of our government's work.Agricultural insurance can play an important role in the development of modern agriculture.It plays an active role in dispersing agricultural risks,reducing farmers' losses,improving agricultural comprehensive productivity,promoting the healthy and steady development of agriculture,gradually solving the "three rural" problems,promoting the implementation of the Rural Revitalization Plan and building a new socialist countryside.However,at present,agricultural insurance falls into the problem of declining supply and demand willingness,which seriously restricts the development of agricultural insurance to a certain extent.The first part introduces the background and significance of the research and the current research situation at home and abroad,and analyses the theories related to agricultural insurance and agricultural insurance policy,which lays a good foundation for the smooth development of the research.The second part is to analyze and compare the implementation of agricultural insurance policies at home and abroad,and draw lessons from their mature experience,so as to provide effective reference for the promotion and implementation of policy-based agricultural insurance in coastal areas.Finally,the basic framework of agricultural insurance in coastal areas is introduced.Taking Zhoushan as the research object,the development and policy status of agricultural insurance in Zhoushan are introduced.At the same time,the existing problems are put forward.Based on theperspective of regional culture,the Countermeasures for the development of agricultural insurance in Zhoushan are put forward,in order to promote the steady development of agricultural insurance in Zhoushan,and to provide a plan for the revitalization of Zhoushan countryside.The construction of new countryside is under escort.
